pajama 0 Posted August 25, 2004 JAM is a nice concept, but it kind of sucks =) come up with something better then Not using/having it at all! I can see some light in Blackdog's argument... Quote[/b] ]In real life, you could choose the weapon of your choice, your own customisedM4 (in OFP, choose your favourite mods M4 or M16) but you could use any mag you found around the battlefield. That is to say, the magazines are the one constant between any variant of the M4 or M16 you choose to use. Even though the JAM readme may state this, you still need to use a M16A2 specific magizine that only allows burst/single (JAM_W556_30Bmag)...you can't use a mag from a M4A1 that has fullauto/single (JAM_W556_30mag) Still, I highly support JAM (and uses of It) becuase its the best "standard" OFP has... Well whatever the COMBAT! team decides...I still love them  -PJ
blackdog~ 0 Posted August 25, 2004 I don't use JAM when I don't have to, and unlike some/many I like when all the addons are the same 'style' or quality standard and color standards...... hard to put into words... kind of like all the combat addons. I would put them all in one mission but not mixing them up with Fischkopp's Humvees or some old retexture of an AH-1 etc... Baz... I agree, that's why I asked for convoy-duty M151's, along with MP jeeps. Normally (well it varied from unit to unit)... convoy-duty mutts had an amber strobe light either attached to a fording or a radio antenna bracket on the back of the jeep, or on a pole on the back of the jeep. In country (Vietnam), some MP companies, such as the 23rd MP company, used the red high intensity blinking lights off the top of Huey. Others had red lights in place of the blackout light on the front fender (like the M151A2 in Operation Flashpoint - look at the light right above the front right turnsignal - this was an MP mutt). Others had sirens mounted on the fenders (opposite the b/o light), or seperate MP lights. As I said it varied from unit to unit. Then some MP units had uparmored jeeps or jeeps with windshields taken off, with a "flowerbox" put on them piled with sandbags...

hmmwv 0 Posted August 25, 2004 Wow very nice HMMWV. Great work ! I think, that there will be best HMMWVs in OFP & Wordl ! Totally agreed; unless the best ARMY variants cause Fischkopp has done a great job with his USMC variants. (best humvees released till today) His models are very very accurate but there´s one little problem: they´re based on stock BI humvee and not scratch made like COMBAT! ones. This means COMBAT! humvees are more faithful to reality (better windshield, hood, wheels...) is another addon concept. So as I think COMBAT! will not make humvees with the USMC kit (correct me if I´m wrong), I can say that Fischkopp has made the best USMC humvees and COMBAT! will make the best ARMY humvees. Bobcatt666 0 Posted August 29, 2004 No it not in production the US Army does not have that vehicle in the invintory. CBT primary is doing US produced combat vehicles, inuse in the US Army. Only a few Marine units are under production in a joint effort between mods. If its not _officially_ mentioned its not being made.
