use the save option, then name the file: (filename).tga

then it will be safed as a tga file, that you can modify through

photoshop or any similar program

@Tomislav - I've completed my first face - my own (pretty scary). Many thanks for your suggestions.

@Honchoblack - Yes, I've used PS for the creation/editing of my image. However, I was interested in pulling the original TGA files out of another persons PAA file. I don't really need that anymore but thanks anyway.

The toughest thing seems to be matching the cheeks with the front of the face but a bit'o practice will get me there I'm sure.

voila, you just created a new tga form someone elses paa file

Well, they're nothing special but you can download my first attempt from here:

Strange artefact on a few mission addons. For some reason the face hood looses it's texture on the ears and leaves them bare!?

If you want such faces you should provide some good frontal shots of the faces first but i guess you wont find any useable material.

Also i havent seen Liquid here in a while...

Sorry for the necropost, but does anyone have a link for the pbo for liquid's facepack (that includes the following faces both normal and camo versions, bruce, richard, arnold, ranger1-3, etc)? Again to clarify the pbo file and not a rar with jpegs, as I would like to use this for the ai non player characters. Thanks

I believe it was called "rangerfaces.pbo", correct?

Actually I think it might have been called something more like, "liquidfaces.pbo" or something. Because it wasn't limited just to the Ranger camo faces, it had faces of Sam Fisher, Arnold S., Ding Chavez, Bruce Willis and others in both camo and non-camo.
