Updated anim.pbo replacement pack

I think Wilco is a bit busy with The Unsung at the moment.

If i could make anims i would - i just dont think i have the paitence.

I don't know whats wrong but ill replace my anim.pbo with the new one and go into the game to see the new third person rest and its like nothing has changed. they still sling the gun over their shoulders. is this making sense. didn't you replace THAT animation with the gun down on the hip?

You replace the anim.pbo located in the Res/dta folder. Make a backup of it first though.

Hmm Wilco why don't you upload your anim pack with that other crouching anim? The one where the right leg's lower half on the ground, kind of.

hey wilco, create a new animation for holding like the bis m21 sniper rifle...so that we can hold it properly tounge_o.gif

uhm?

The weapon aiming animation is universal, its the same on every weapon.

I've got a nice anim, that im keeping hidden till my campaign (unless the author releases publicly). Its nice adds alot to the game for just a single animation.

does anybody has the document that converts the czech animation names to english?

I think the name was trans_c2e.tsl

does this work with ECP?

The ECP mod has a new anims PBO in its mod folder (don't know what the difference is. Never really noticed anything in terms of animations).

They are hunter's static animations, so they should work.

I've had so many problems with anims that I stopped using them. This has nothing to do with them being bad, its just that I have so many of them that things were getting kind of warped !!!

Nobodys fault but my own for not keeping track.

I have a request. Is it possible that that third person combat rest animation could play instead of gun on back? So when you choose gun on back you would actually have it down on your waste. Then when you want to salute you'd hold your gun in one hand and salute with another, or remove that part out because it serves no general gaming purpose anyhow. I want to see my character walk like that but found out that only ai can use that new third person combat rest thats why i ask. How can I get the guy I control to do it?

I think the new animations cause the ak47 to often point vertically when a russian gets killed. I am assuming this is the problem as I have never noticed this prior to replacing the default animations.

I may, it is just a beta one, I also changed it a bit, I may.  I'm still hella busy with 2 mods, but I'll see what happens.

By the way, I changed the prone position, but the left arm is stretching too much crazy_o.gif

wilco,

you might want to take a look at the VBS1 site and maybe you can incorperate some of the stances that they have in that game, looks pretty realistic and would go well with OPF.

1 question do you have to enter triggers and stuff to get these to work or do they actually replace the old ones withought me doing any work?
