Anim.pbo replacement pack

considering that all the ofp soldiers are the same height I would go for an animation that looks better for all of them instead of the short dudes...

No not all OFP soldiers are the same height,  stand most of Lasers or CLSA's troops next to stock bis units a civies.

Isn't it just that they look shorter because they're standing in a different stance?

Umm, what I think is that in safe mode the units should have the weapon on the back, while in aware mode he should have the weapon slung across their front. It would be ok to have the weapon on back anim, but the one with the weapon across your front is so sweet biggrin_o.gif Besides, when your at guard duty and things like that you got to be aware, so put him in aware mode, when your somewhere totally safe where you don't really need a weapon at all, you can have it on your back, so put him in safe mode ;)

I revamped some of the animations, sorry for the huge lack of updates, but I will try to do something to get this thing going on the road again.

Plan is to have Dreamyknights anim.pbo to hold you guys off until I get a good enough version to contend with his.

U could make a safe stand anim, where the operators left hand stand loosened up and only right is kept on the grip. The whole weapon is on the chest rest position. Uhh, I'd better show u a pic of that.

True, but if you plan to use it for Combat Photography, it will look the same even if it wasn't static.

That reload looks like a robot IMHO, it's too "slow", I can't really exaplain it.

nice job on reload anim, but i got an idea for you. how about making a reload animation while on the run? we train to change mags while moving (so that you will be able to get behind cover and return fire quickly for your teammates so that they can move while you provide cover fire) and i think that it would be more realistic if it could be implemented.

You can't reload while on the run in the game.

It's possible if you make the animation move foward.

Give me an idea of what you mean and I'll do it

Also, about the reload animation, would you guys want it at the sprint speed, or the regular running speed? If I make him run while reloading, then when he stands still and he needs to reload he will run also, which do you want?

atm i´m tailoring together my own little "best of" of anim pack and i need to know the name of this anim:

That one is "Klek", stand up reload is SNABIJ.  If you want, I can hand over some unreleased stuff to you over MSN?
