Good morning (in Europe)

This pack of Laser's woodland Rangers is very good. You will find D/L lin on our site too (repaired bug in config.cpp of soldiers).

He could have shown some professional courtesy and asked  I really don't think that's too much to ask.

Simple fact is he is now passing off Rangers as his own when really....it's all our texture work.

Very poor effort in my opinion.

Mm, not the same thing. You wouldn't give money to complete strangers, though you might give textures to other modmakers if they ask nicely.

I think DV was trying to illustrate the point that guy is basically stealing textures.....and he can't escape this fact by merely offering credits in readme. He should have asked permission first.

i get the feeling bis is going to need to come up with a version of binnarize that encripts everything ie textures sounds scripts models, cpp the lot

IMHO, BIS is well informed about the situation, and they did

even invite ppl to do so by releasing the required tools for

that.

Also BIS would have said something a long time ago, if they

would have thought the way you see it.

Try to make money out of their models, and you'll hear from them very soon (that's been the only restriction from BIS or

Codies, i remember).

Addon makers do almost every time point onto the fact that

they would like to be asked if somebody wants to use their

work, and that they would also give permission in that case.

Even if they would not want to allow it, then it's their decision

and not the decision of the ones who want to use their work.

Because you've bought the game, you can do whatever you want with the textures as long as you don't try to profit off of them.

I don't think that somebody going to make some money by using others textures. Maybe giving credits is enough?  It's not stealing - it's USING parts of others textures/models.

And please show me someone who payed for Demo-version, models from which we are all using.

Can we talk about this addon please? Look, TS, they didnt ask which is naughty. They can use it anyway, because its PUBLIC, they give you credit, and the only people who have copyright over anything in this game is BIS and Codemasters. As long as you dont make an income off it, then alls fair in love and war. This is why the OFP community has survied so long.

Anybody actually used this addon yet?
