Checking whois.opensrs.net Server... this shows the origin of the websites register, in australia. Which means its something to do with Indipendance lost. Credit to Arrow. All I understand is: - BIS Australia registered the domain flashpoint2004.com and some pictures were posted, and it was rumoured to be the second site for flashpoint 2 or the site for another flashpoint expansion pack. - This site is now not working. - Everyone is talking about conspiracies, now. - Something about BAS and BIS co-operating, which would be nice, since if that picture of a littlebird is BIS then I wouldn't know whether to use that one or the BAS one. theavonlady 2 Posted February 22, 2004 It's sort of simple............... I think. IL is gone or will be wrapped up as part of OFP 2. OFP2 is will come as a modern combat sim. Hence the name of the new site, Flashpoint2004, just like this site we're foruming on is appropriately named Flashpoint1985. There's a good chance that Independence Lost will still be in OFP2, I believe. The 2004 timeline also fits in with the end of IL's storyline: Quote[/b] ]By its resolution 1338 of 31 January 2001, the Security Council extended the mandate of UNTAET until 31 January 2002, bearing in mind the possible need for adjustments related to the independence timetable.
