denoir 0 Posted November 3, 2004 No denoir BBC gives Virginia to Bush .. Yeah, they changed it. CNN has a good interactive map that's updated in real time: http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2004/pages/results/president/ It's looking bad in Florida for Kerry - 35% counted and Bush leads with 56% to 43% for Kerry. Specifically of interest is that several counties that voted for Gore in 2k are voting for Bush. Kerry looks better in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
FSPilot 0 Posted November 3, 2004 Currently in Florida Bush  Kerry 55%  44%

Acecombat 0 Posted November 3, 2004 Looking at missouri its a tough fight there too .. Kerry 50.7 and Bush 48.9. Akira isnt austin in texas? Shouldnt it be Bush country there?
denoir 0 Posted November 3, 2004 What is interesting is that the exit polls show a Kerry lead in Florida of 2-3%. The uncertainty of such polls is about 1%.
Akira 0 Posted November 3, 2004 Looking at missouri its a tough fight there too .. Kerry 50.7 and Bush 48.9.Akira isnt austin in texas? Shouldnt it be Bush country there? Austin's vote is 56% for Kerry. Unfortunately I can't speak for the rest of the state. Austin is a democratic stronghold in the state which is why the republicans illegally redistricted on an off year and split the city into three different districts. denoir 0 Posted November 3, 2004 Akira isnt austin in texas? Shouldnt it be Bush country there? Austin is the only real democrat stronghold in Texas. Edit: Interesting from CNN, the exit polls show that New Yorkers think that Iraq is a more important issue than terrorism.

denoir 0 Posted November 3, 2004 I think one thing is pretty important - mind you that it's my speculation: Democrats are always stronger in the big cities and urban areas - i.e counties with large populations. The votes from those counties should take longer time to count - i.e they should show up later.
Acecombat 0 Posted November 3, 2004 Kerrys opened up a healthy lead in Ohio according to BBC. But Bush still in lead  Edit its gone up to 172/
