Anybody got a mirror for these addons?

I tried registering but so far have gotten no activation email.

I HATE websites that do that. I just want to download the addons, and not participate on in their forum (I'm already on enough forums and don't have time to keep track of all the ones that I'm on as it is).

So I hope someone fixes this problem.

I gotta agree with SILESIAN, they look amazing   Much appretiated addons i'm sure. When they release a few more units, i should think (or at least i hope) the Mod will be widely used, like the FDF Mod is.

I normally dislike installers but the mmp ones are actually quite nice. The vehicles are really cool, especially the fuel truck. OFP needs some better softskin support vehicles. Any plans on making a "wrecker" version of it as a repair truck ? Sweet release guys, looking forward to more from mmp!

A non-installer would be even better, as you can't install those files on a linux server. No i have to download them to me at home, unpack them there, and upload them back to the server instead of downloading them directly to the server.

And i hate installers anyway, even with windows, and especially from bw mod, the old versions fucked up some the ofp installations from some of my players so they had to reinstall the game. I can see the use of installers where they are needed (registry entries for programs that need them eg) but not for ofp addons.

At least use self-extracting zip/rar/ace archives, those can be unpacked with linux too.

I've just noticed a bug with S&E's marines. The first vehicle you hit with the RPG-16 gets killed. The rest become impervious to RPG fire

but could someone help me with that annoying prob i have with downloading from ftp servers ? either if i try downloading stuff from ofp.cz or ofp base .. all the files report "This FTP session was closed" .. or somfin like that

Firewall?? Just guessing, dont really know too much about that, but that seems to be the answer to most of the problems like that, Firewall is stopping download. The downlaods were fine for me.

The 10 and 7 trucks dont let any troops in the back, only the 5. Is that supposed to be (for what ever reason)?

Yep .... i was one of them    The "old" BW-Mod installer wrecked my whole OFP-Insatallation ... had to reinstall it.

So it would be really nice, if u could manage to release a self-extracting zip/rar/ace - File!  

That would be great ... not only for Linux-Users

The other bad thing about the installer is that it puts them automatically into the Res/addons folder and I DON'T WANT THEM THERE! I always put my addons in specific mod folders and this installer doesn't even give me the option of doing that which really sucks.

Aside from that however the addons seem nice. My only beef is that the regular infantry soldier is still has the tiny BIS helmet on his head rather then the more realistic larger helmets like on the international soldier addon and most newer infantry addons (like the OFrP infantry) that use PASGT style kevlar helmets. The ones BIS used on their infantry were just too small and not shaped properly.

Anyhoo, that's my only knitpick so far. I just wish someone would update the entire BW demo mod to incorporate the HK pack (which had lots of excellent German infantry in it), fix the BWmod's helicopter textures from jpeg's to .paa and .pac textures and get all the armored vehicles organized.

Well, i doubt it can be the M.M.P units cause they dont have anything in them which could effect that as far as i can see, they dont even have any AT weapons! Probably just co-incidence?

The 7T is the "repair truck" and the 10T the ammo truck.

Does anyone have an idea when the "real" troops will be released? (sorry for asking such a "silly" question    .... keep on working, it's great stuff! I think it's better do wait a little bit longer for a bug-free addon, than to get one with, anyway )
