shadow 6 Posted January 11, 2004 I also have enabled "Allow Microsoft Speaker Setup Control Panel change Creative Speaker Selection". I don't know if it makes a difference. You find it in Speaker Settings in that same program. I set CMSS to off. CMSS is just some crappy effects from creative. Similar to all the useless effects on a surround-receiver. Do you use digital out or analogue out for the speakers? I use 4-point surround so I don't use the digital outs. Maybe it does'nt work on the digital outs. ale2999 0 Posted January 12, 2004 I try with both Allow Microsoft Speaker Setup Control Panel change Creative Speaker Selection on and off. I use analogue 5.1 speakers. my friend says that the problem could be that when I disabled the onboard audio in the bios, I didnt deinstall the drivers. I dont know I am clueless. I will investigate later tonit after alias ^^ Edit: I dont know I am ready to give up. my bios is setup right and the audigy drivers seem right as well . maybe I should call creative sometime soon. o well thx for the help guys
