I took this Photo yesterday afternoon at around 4.30pm GMT+1

The weather was crazy, we had snow falling and the sunshining at the same time. 4 days ago the temprature was like 17°C and now it is -2°C

Not posted here for a while, but there are some good pictures as always in this thread.

This is actually a shameless plug. I'm trying to raise cash for the charity Medecines Sans Frontieres (MSF) by riding my motorcycle around Australia, all on my lonesome. 15,000km done so far, and a lot further to go. So if you fancy a gander at the blog or some more photos, visit www.arseaboutface.com. Any pennies you donate go straight to the charity, I don't get a chance to spend them on anything tasty.

But to keep things on topic, some piccies!

Sorry for the shameless plug, but I'm trying to get as many people donating as possible, and it's all for a good cause! yay.gif

I took these last tuseday from the semifinal game in the swedish elitseries. These are taken with the kit lens, and I really do miss a lens with a larger aperture size and a bigger zoom ranger. : )

These are just the first of many Images I took at the Australian International Airshow at Avalon. I spent 5 days there (2 trade days and 3 public days), and took over 10000 images... (45GB worth...)

Many more of these to come. I will post them up on my Photobucket site. Email me for a password if you think you deserve a look... chrisgee@ihug.co.nz

All Images shot using Nikon D200 with 80-400mm VR or 18-200 VR

What a roller coaster ride of a week... Heat waves, Dust Storms, Rain, Sun, Wind... but worth every minute.

Nice airshow pics Killagee! That F-16 is a C type btw, it has the fat tailbase and the newer type exhaust. Avalon07FA-18FSuper-Hornet1.jpg could use a little more contrast and less blue. Overall nice images and some really nice planes, seeing an operational F-111 is a real rarity these days, the aussies must be the only ones still operating them. I'd love to see more of them! smile_o.gif BTW did you get any detail photography? :P Always need that for my profiles biggrin_o.gif

My most recent photographs were a lot more subdued. though technically speaking it is a Tomcat :P

tomcat.jpg

My newest (I allready have three) cat, a norwegian forest cat kitten. Right now he is a rather unimpressive 10 cm's high but he has lots of personality and in the end he should grow to the size of a reasonable sized poodle (phear!wink_o.gif, doesn't have a name yet.

sister.jpg

And his sister, which I also bought, a bit more timid then the little guy but very affectionate and I thought it would be fun for them to have a cat of the same age to play with as the rest of my cats are a bit older.

And now for some Cat "Biffo" (borrowing Killagee's term here! biggrin_o.gif )

biffo.jpg

Looks like the little guy is winning but actually she beat the crap out of him after the picture was taken smile_o.gif
