My teacher has made one of those out of an old Hasselblad lens, it's really great. But IMO the effect is not so much like the one you get with a Lensbaby. Looks like he could have done the same thing with another accessory (usually for mediumformat cameras) which I forgot the name of... Granted, that accessory is a whole lot more expensive than an old lens and a rubber plunger tounge2.gif

Woot, nice. Where should I travel if I want to steal your camera? wink_o.gif

Supah, just saw your thread at Screenshotprints.com, a fellow squad mate (non-OFP) kindly found the page... amazing job, as before.

What, my camera? Not worth stealing, it's cheap enough to buy (Panasonic DMC-FZ5).

Thanks. Sorry, don't have a clue, tried to google it yesterday, but when it's a species that isn't rare or otherwise spectacular, it's not worth the effort.

Hope this one doesn't break any of the "No porn, real killing, mutilations, wounds, carnage,  and other disgusting/explicit images" rules. But I think it's pretty "clean":

Water vole (Arvicola terrestris)

Saw a cat kill it in my back yard, apparently just for fun. Notice the bloody claws, it seems that it managed to put up a fight. Those of you who are familiar with the species know that they can get about as big as a rat and twice as nasty.

Nice ones, AimPoint and GoOB. Any stories behind those models, AimPoint?

i know it´s the "big brother" of your camera, and im thninking about buying it smile_o.gif

is it worth the extra money compared to a DMC FZ5?

and can i get a small review of the FZ5? smile_o.gif

Well, according to what I've read, the FZ7 is basically a modernized FZ5, with relatively few and relatively insignificant improvements. The older model is harder to get right now, but if both were available, I'd probably buy the FZ5 which ought to be about 2/3 of the price of the FZ7.

DMC-FZ5

DMC-FZ7

Vattensork indeed. tounge2.gif The kind that sometimes attaches itself to a harrassing predator (usually a lip) and refuses to let go.

oh, and i have tried to find the DMC FZ5, but it´s rare as you said... and there wasnt that big price difference....

besides, FZ7 has both auto and manual focus :P

and a few more fetures wich the FZ5 lacks......

I prefer to use the .22 on smaller rodents, at least they won't suffer.  wink_o.gif

One more megapixel, slightly bigger screen, ISO 1600, longer battery life (20 more shots, not that the FZ5 has anything to be ashamed of), manual focus and a new control system. Of course it's better than the FZ5, but you have to decide for yourself if those features are worth that extra 120-150€ (local price difference), especially in a camera that cheap.   smile_o.gif
