dm 9 Posted April 30, 2007 @sniper - I'm not really the "right" person to ask/give out advice, but I CAN say that a good circular polarising filter is one to get. You can kill almost all shine (specular) from certain shots. Take the F100D Super Sabre for example (1st post, 5th image) without the filter you would have a long bright white line along the spine of the aircraft, the filter is able to cancel that out, so its perfect for this sort of work. (I'm not yet practiced enough to use it by reflex, so I forget about it in a lot of shots, and it can only cancel light from one source, so thats why theres still a lot of reflections on the indoor shots) @the shadow - cool, thought it might have been something along those lines. Theres more writing on the roundels if you're interested? ...Cont Bigger Bigger Bigger Bigger Bigger Bigger (Had to "trespass" over the rope to get that one! To be cont... dm 9 Posted April 30, 2007 @sniper (again ) I took 300 pics today, be thankful I'm only spamming the "cream of the crop" so to speak Last post... Bigger Bigger Bigger I suppose I really should go edit all my posts to include type info for the aircraft in each shot, if people want it, I will, otherwise I think I'll leave it as is. The more astute of you will notice I did 2 rounds of the museum, I kinda like doing this, because you tend to pick up of shots (and info) you miss the first time round. The even more astute of you (specifically the canon pro/pro-sumer users) will notice something else. Points and some meaningless prize to the person that works it out
