Ares1978 0 Posted November 27, 2004 Rust? Precisely. There's plenty of iron in the rock (where we have our summer cottage) and every spring it turns the pools of water bright red. After the first rain it usually washes away, though.
denoir 0 Posted November 27, 2004 denoir Hagaparken is 1-2 km away from my home. How far away do you live? Not much further, I'd say ~3-4 km (norra djurgĺrden). Though I'm planning to move to söder in a not-too-distant future. Speaking of Stockholm, have you seen this site from lantmäteriet? http://www.lantmateriet.se/sbindex.htm It has complete arieal photo coverage of Stockholm (and some other places) and you can zoom to a 0.25 m/pixel resolution. Kick ass Left upper area, my neighbourhood. Right upper area, the municipality that's in the background on my picture on the previous page. Left lower area, the hill from which I took the same picture. Right lower area, the Haga park.
