Siper

Skins, uniforms, etc.

If anybody would have his own costum, how you gonna know if its an enemy or a friend. I am happy to have them all same uniform, as it should be in the Army. But what you can do is change the whole face and hand area by yourself. You just need a face.jpg into your user folder (flashpoint/user/siper) which you can download on most ofp related sites and modify by yourself in Photoshop or whatever.

I know - I have used custom faces in OF1 myself. Problem is - not many people do this so you end up with the same problem - you can recognize nobody or just a handful of people. Bottom line is it has to be very easy to use and integrated into the game.

And it would be nice if it goes beyond just the face/head. Soldiers in Vietnam didn't all look the same after some period in the field. You can still have the same overall look but still look quite different. Rolled up sleves, flak jacket or no flak jacket, arm bands, rolled up towel around the neck, etc. As long as the overall look (base color of uniform or something) is the same you can still identify who's on your team and who's not.

It would be nice if you could point your mate and then his/her name would pop on the center of the screen. But if the mate was too far (~20 meters away from you) the name wouldn't show up. This would prevent enemy/friendly indentification in long ranges. What do you say?

This is it. Even it could be activated by pressing the key.
