Do you have some extra animation addon installed?

(in other words, I'd like to have a look at that breakdance addon)

I have no idea. It leads to some interesting moments. I was playing as a commander with a group of artic jaeger. I was on this hill top overlooking a ravine, i turn around to look at my squad of highly trained and motivated soldiers only to find 6 out of 8 breakdancing  mad_o.gif I actually said "Stop breakdancing you idiots, i am trying to win a war" out loud  crazy_o.gif

Which mission is this?

This is not in the mission, it does it too when i just place them with the mission editor and preview smile_o.gif its fun at first but then it gets annoying. There was a breakdance addon a while back. I may have installed that .... but i cant find any info on it and i am not certain if i did install it smile_o.gif

Edit: This problem is exclusive to FDF for me. If i dont use the finmod option in the shortcut there is no ,what i like to call, jiggyness smile_o.gif

Like I've been trying to say: maybe it's conflicting with some other addon.

Same happened to me in a mission. My CO was ordering me to help defend a hill, and mid sentance he went into a breakdance biggrin_o.gif

Harnu, did you try using Createvehicle instead? I will post back with the exact line (think it is identical to camcreate, but with createvehicle in it's place). Haven't tried with molotovs, but worked with all other "kaboomers" I've tried. smile_o.gif

createVehicle doesn't work either sad_o.gif

It's not the RK62 that's inaccurate. The rounds hit right where the sights are pointed. It's just that the sights jump around more. Try the same with a BIS M16

Well, i think it has been stated already that pasi is a wheeled vehicle and we know what wheeled vehicles + grenades in OFP mean, dont we? wink_o.gif

Yeah, but isnt non-turning wheels an OK comprimise if its in the tank class? The BOH mod Type 95 SG is wheeled and uses grenades tho... I dunno... sad_o.gif

I would expect that grenades come under a diferent category, similar to the bullet, but I'm not an expert, so they can be fired from wheeled vehicles, but no rokets.

I also speak fluent Russian and if needed could help out... I have done translations from Russian to English for Liberation 45 mod... I would really like to see a Russian campaign for this mod... It is really great... and close to where I use to live back in the day... Severodvinsk - east of you Finlanders.

well another thing you could do is make the model and everything, but just have it like UA for the AMOS. So it wouldn't fire any shells, but instead it would fire and have a scripted impact at a designated co-ordinate... Kinda like the FDF artillery script with the co-ordinate sending radio thing.

BTW: I just simply love the F/A-18 I'm killer in it, just ask good ol Jinef. He speaks from experiance  tounge_o.gif

I have been trying to finf you some info of what the NH-90 will be like in FDF service, but I have failed miserably sad_o.gif

We have noticed NH90. We have also worked on that.

Same goes for AMV. And probably for every other in-use/in-field-test/future FDF vehicles. Don't worry! We are following FDF and FDF's purchases. biggrin_o.gif

But the problem, what you probably know too:

We do NOT have enough photos of those thingies in Finnish camo etc. for textures. That's quite understandable since for example there aren't any NH90s in Finland yet(?). sad_o.gif

Found out why, sort of.

FDF_Molotov is the "magazine" that you carry. (Weapon=Throw). However, looked at the Config file, and there are scripts that are activated upon throwing the device. Looks like it detects if you throw it, and if so, activates 2 more scripts making the initial boom, and the resulting flames. Objects are "FDFMolotov" (no underscore) and "FDFMolotovflame" . Neither one alone is very deadly at all. However, the script creates a bunch of the fire sets, which result in it's devestating attack. In theory I imagine you can still createvehicle (or camcreate) the object, but figuring out what variables it looks for in activating the script? (Saw Select0-select 4 for variables) Got a little lost, but I've had a few beers while looking.. biggrin_o.gif

(I did get the individual Molotov/molotov flames to appear, but without the corresponding graphics, as these are called up via the scripting.) (The flame had NO graphics at all. No fire, smoke, etc, just sent the guy up in the air, and then he died. Sorta like a ghost killed him. smile_o.gif )

Ooh, does this mean we will eventually see this(© The Finnish Defence Forces / Sebastian Nurmi) vest and new BDU on the regulars in FDFmod? I am also looking forward to seeing Finnish CV90's rolling around on that eastern border map.
