Commander-598 0 Posted November 26, 2003 Anybody every notice how stock OFP or Res. never had any memory map issues? It's because they put all their models in one PBO in the DTA folder and so on for other things like sounds and textures. I believe if mods would stop just making 90 addon PBOs and putting them in the mods addon directory, it would solve memory map issues. This shouldn't be any problem for a mod using custom configs. Leone 1 Posted November 26, 2003 Or......just use the -nomap command on your OFP shortcut

Commander-598 0 Posted November 26, 2003 Its just that normally, whenever I try to put Winter Nogojev into my FDFMod folder, i'd usually get an error. But that thread is new to me...
@cero 0 Posted November 26, 2003 If you download pach 1.94 and use the OFPBETA.EXE for the short cut instead of the resistance one you will run FDF mod without the map error problem.
Consigliere 0 Posted November 27, 2003 I currently have over a gig of addons installed, whereas before, when I was using 1.91, anything over 25mb would cause me to get the green screen bug or cannot memory map error message, so 1.94's the way to go Oh also put -nomap in the target box of your shortcut
