Star Wars (and Harry Potter) are tied into the release of a movie. I suspect that the US wouldn't invade Iraq to conicide with the release of Lego products.....probably wink_o.gif

Reminds me of the good old days, when I use to make apocalypse tanks, RPG-7's, mechs, and even battle ships out of legos. smile_o.gif

Block Death. smile_o.gif I believe I originally got the link from Major Fubar.

And if any of you don't know what to do with your old lego, my little ones will be more than happy to take it off your hands! smile_o.gif

I prefer http://www.offmylawn.com/ because it reminds me of the friendly moderators here at the forums.

There is a Chinese (or Korean can't remember) LEGO rip-off that have a Gulf war one series. And also a Vietnam war series. I bought one set for one of my cousins smile_o.gif

Childhood memories!!

I always built entire cities with Airforce bases and loads of bombers and jet's tounge_o.gif

The large 4 engines bombers were the best.. they had "turrets" and even openable bomb bays and retractable gears wink_o.gif

Legos do rule. Those sets definately are pricey however, $200 some odd bucks for the Panther.

LEGO, those were the days!

I must have several Å1000 stashed away in my loft, *drifts off into a dream of his childhood*

My biggest and best LEGO creation was this:

Lego.jpg

[Edit] D'oh, crap link, fixed now smile_o.gif [/Edit]

It measured 2m long, and about 0.7m wide. (Its a Model of HMS Ark Royal IV)

Man, THOSE were the days! biggrin_o.gif

Guest DKM-jaguar

I have a crate of lego. No.. i HAD a crate of lego. PARENTS: keep your child's lego away from naked flames for prolonged periods.

And the presence of bangers didn't help either..
