Dark Knight 0 Posted November 9, 2003 We at Operation Sci-fi are in need of some help.. as some of you may know we havent shown much progress.. the reason for this is we dont have many textureers to get the addons done. so this is a cry for help to all OFP textureers out there.. will you join us and get these addons skined and these mods complete? if you would like to help us and feel free to make your self known on the OpScifi forum or you can post here i am waiting for your responses.. I'll help you only if I can beta test your addons too ;) and More important thing I can change and add things to the p3ds but I am not a great 3d modeller but I can try also with this !! miles teg 1 Posted November 11, 2003 Are you guys still developing the Tau addons??? Those were my absolute favorite. The stealth units just blew my mind (just like the Predator in stealth mode) and it was the first time I ever saw soldier units larger then a regular BIS soldier in the form of those big mechs. That and the hovercraft just blew my mind. I never expected anything like that in OFP. So I hope you guys continue to work on stuff like those amazing Tau forces. The Tie Fighters were also very nice by the way. I can't find a Tau addon download link on your site, but maybe it's still in the ofp.info archives. If so I highly recommend that people download it if they want to see what I'm raving about. This addon is what totally changed my mind about these sci-fi mods. I used to believe that these guys were just wasting their time making silly unrealistic sci-fi addons. But after playing the Tau pack I was totally convinced that their mod would be amazing and tons of fun for everyone who enjoys sci-fi movies and books. Dark Knight 0 Posted November 16, 2003 BUMP.. come on guys we really do need some textureers..we only have 18 members and 2 are textureers.. we need at least 2 or 3 more.. can any one fill these spaces? as said before by becoming a member u do get to beta all addons like all other members all we need is some sort of example of what u can do and remember only coz we are doing sci fi mods it dosent mean it is crap and a waste of time.. we have high hopes for these mods and we no you will like them too i await your reply Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

miles teg 1 Posted November 17, 2003 I just want some Ewoks. Bring on the Ewoks!!!! Ewoks fighting against Storm Troopers in the jungles of the Tonal map would kick arse!!! There was a very nice speeder bike addon made awhile back. Are you guys in the Sci-Fi mod going to use that old addon? I hope so. Dark Knight 0 Posted November 18, 2003 we do have permission to use that bike.. but when we get round doing iot we may go on and do our own u could say.. we will cross that bridge when we come to it.. and there will be ewoks so u can have them in there little huts in Tonal or on Endor but our main concern right now is getting the textures done.. either that or have lots of grey addons and play it on a blanc island.. i just hope there is some on there with texturing skills that can help but if u want the latest news on what we are doing dont firget to visits either the OFP Topic or visit Operation Sci-fi Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
