Custom bin folders

I'm trying to create a BIN folder for a mod folder, for my personal use. But is some issues that kip on making me fail, plus real life don't give me chance to finish anything to do with OFP.

However, is not much information, if any, to do with the modification of configuration bin or how to rebuild new menus for OFP.

I'm opening this topic with the hope that this people with more experience in this mater can give us a hand on modifying this configuration bins, and if so, some other people could share thir own ones with others or just give new ideas of what addons can be used to replace the official BIS units and islands.

Is lots of dessert addons out there, and the most of the official islands have been converted to dessert, so that could bring a nice dessert addon folder and let us play the official campaigns with the dessert fealing. That's just an example.

You can use snow, or the Tonal addon from BAS, etc.

You can use the high res menu screen that came with the FDF mod when u copy theirs dtaext.pbo into yourmodfolder/dta

Yeah, I supose, but the thing is that is not information or tutorials about it.

All I want is to make a topic to discuss the creation of custom BIN folders and custom OFP start menus.

It will allso make people willing to create tutorials about it, and I know that is people around with alot of knowledge and experience on it.

I would work alot on it if I had the time, but I can't afford to investigate and experiment with all that stuff when I got a job, a wyfe and two kids so if someone bring a light to this BIN configurations and menus, people like me will be able to work on things like that much much faster and with more success rate than now, Making OFP even more interesting.

And if things gos well, we can allways share BIN folders and information so we all be able to have the OFP of our dreams, even if is just for single player.
