Silent N Deadly 0 Posted September 26, 2003 When I try to start a game (different game than OPF) I get an error. "Game.exe - unable to locate DLL" The Dymanic link library Is3df.dll could not be found in the specified directory.... How can I fix this? Can I get the file from somewhere? Download it or if someone could sent it to me. It's a WINNT file. Thanks...

der bastler 0 Posted September 26, 2003 A mod would write "please do search!"... Google sez: http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?ls3df CAUTION! USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! I can only advise to do a clean reinstall. The offered file could be infected or of a different version! @Burl: The old "rm -r /" joke?
toadlife 3 Posted September 27, 2003 Is3df.dll might be a video driver file or a windows system file. Try reinstalling your video drivers. If that doesn't solve it, insert your windows windowsXP/Win2000 CD, and run this in the command prompt: sfc /scannow "sfc" is the system file checker utilty. It will scan for missing windows system files and replace them from it's backup cache or your windows CD. Quote[/b] ]Sure can!Go into the Command Prompt (Windows NT) and at the root, type this: c:\winnt del *.* That wouldn't accomplish much. A more effective method would be this: <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE"> del /s /q c:\ FOR /D %i IN (c:\*) DO rd /s /q "%i" Do NOT run the above code! :P

After I posted my suggestions you only proclaimed your non-stupidity, and didn't actually let me know if you had tried what I suggested. How can anyone help you if you don't tell them what you have tried out. My money says it's the wrong version of the file, and I think you've been given the answer by Der Blaster. Do a clean reinstall of windows.
