cojiro 0 Posted August 19, 2003 Hello, i'm new. Flashpoint = excellent (i played up until the bit where you're in the forest then the boats leave and you have to get to a rendezvous point, but i couldn't do it)... but the thing which interests me currently is the quotes which appear when you die. Can anybody give me a list of these quotes? Or, alternately, simply reply to this topic with any of the quotes, if you remember it? Thanks!
Mister Frag 0 Posted August 19, 2003 I think they are in StringTable.csv, which is a text file that can be opened using Notepad, or better yet, Excel. Edit: Fixed typo
Gollum1 0 Posted August 19, 2003 I think BIS should keep the death event the same in OFP2 as a nod to OFP1, with all-new quotes
Guest Posted August 19, 2003 Yup....Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\BIN\Stringtable.csv A single death is a tragedy; a million deaths is a statistic. Skulleye 0 Posted August 20, 2003 Didn't know that there were that many. I've always thought that they were too few. Maybe I just don't remember which ones I have heard. Though I can't remember this: "Much good work is lost for the lack of a little more." However this have inspired me to retry missions several times: "When defeat comes, accept it as a signal that your plans are not sound, rebuild those plans, and set sail once more toward your coveted goal." Thanks for the list!
