Ah, bugger but understandable. I think you can report your own threads/posts so Moderators may close or remove them.

Sorry, I didn't see your reply.

I took it down because of a lack of interest in the mission. There seems to be a lack of interest in sp missions in general more recently, and especially so with sp missions that use a cDLC. My last few published missions all require one of the cDLDs, and they had very few subscribers to the missions. I've noticed this is not unique to my missions, most sp mission are only getting a very small number of subscribers. There's too much time, and effort spent on my missions to bother publishing them if there isn't much interest.

I get it, but if you go as far as publishing a mission and only one person subscribes and gets a kick out of it then that's the bonus right there, It's a shame bro' your missions are fun to play and are always immersive. :rthumb:

Personally I make all my content, first and foremost, for myself and if I share then it's in the lap of the gods, take the good with the bad and move on with life but leave your legacy behind you.

Theres to much time spent building them to let them go to waste if but a few really enjoyed the mission, then you have enriched those players lives with joy.

As an alternative imo and i do this with all my missions is dont make the mission exclusively single-player, add more functionality

to it where you can play it in coop.

Add respawn, or revive, or other functions that enhance it, theres alot of people that like to play such missions in coop.

If one can play it by themselves then wonderful, but if there is an option for coop then i think that would extend the mission to more players.

Also workshop presentation, being the information on the description tab, pictures, even a video, what you put into the presentation of the mission makes a difference with

subscribers too, same concept with Youtube videos, its a challenge but regardless put your all in it and people will gravitate to it.

Personally i have hundreds of missions i built but only so few made it on the workshop, only because i haven't finished the other ones, sharing is caring, theres still

alot of new players coming to the game, you only just released the mission in August and you had only gave it a month, and already here theres a few of us asking about it.

Take pride in your work, thats time spent you cant get back, but your published work is the result of that, record a video of you playing it, share it on discord ect,.

be into your mission, thats what i did with mine and i got a good response. From the screenshots it looks pretty cool!

Yes, even if you have a mission that does pretty well, most people can't be bothered to leave a comment, or even take a second to rate the mission, at most, a mission maker will get a comment, "Cool mission dude". That's just how it is, and that's why I completely agree with you that first, and foremost, you need to make missions for yourself, and enjoy it as a creative outlet.

However, having missions on the workshop with less than a hundred subscribers, just feels like the community is ungrateful, or that I failed as a mission maker. Either way, I felt that I didn't want that reminder, nor wanted it to be part of my legacy, so I took down the last few missions that I published. Most of the missions that I've published are still on the Workshop, and public, so there is still something I've left to the community. I do appreciate the support, and encouragement from the people that did enjoyed my work.

I love Arma 3, but it's getting old, and I don't care for the direction the new game is going, so I'm not sure, but it seems that I may be parting ways with the Arma series. In the meantime, I'll just play around in the editor to entertain myself. I think I'll leave it at that, as I'm starting to sound way too much like a whiny little b*tch, and that's not a good look.

Thanks for the support over the years....have fun guys, and continue to enjoy the game.
