EricJ 765 Posted Sunday at 12:56 PM No problem, though the flight model is pretty much the same for the two new ones. I tweaked the flight model for the MH-15M but I think I need to fix the MH-6 as well, I'm not too satisfied with it, or it's just my joystick getting old. EricJ 765 Posted Sunday at 07:07 PM Apparently, the flight model of the MH-6J didn't need tweaking, I just don't fly light helicopters so it was a bit biased since I fly medium-lift birds. Anyway, I recorded this short so I could show the values I have for the rotors, so you can get into tight spaces with the MH-15M. Originally I had the MH-6 values, and did okay, but a "rotor" strike with the original values necessitated a change and fixing. So here is how it looks with the current radius size for the main and tail rotor, allowing me to get into some tight spaces, the sound used for the AH/MH-15M is that of the default PO-30 Orca sounds. It's good enough as it fits the sound I would believe how the tilt-rotors would sound. And if anybody knows how to animate them moving around that would be cool. ADuke said it was possible, but he never followed through with anything either, so there's that.
EricJ 765 Posted 10 hours ago Was looking into the GAU-19 and if anybody had a good model for it. Turns out vurtual98 (thanks to C Eagle pointing me to it) had a model handy on his GitHub. The models are apparently old, but it's good enough for government work I suppose. Overall, the model looks good and managed to figure out (though it took some copying and pasting) to get the Gatling barrels to move right. It's Arma, so there's that. Anyway here's what it looks like before i added some more stuff to make it more reasonable looking. It has the same magazine as the M3P, 500 rounds, but otherwise is the same as the M3P in function and weapon performance,, it just looks more tacticool with the rotating barrels and such: http://ericjwrites.itgo.com/Arma3/wip2007.jpg
