How to get no messages.

Here is what you can do to eliminate getting false messages in matches:

1st have 1.91

Have one reg 1.46 addon folder (ofp/AddOns) with only originals + editorupdate102

Have one res 1.91 addon folder (ofp/res/AddOns) with only originals and don't put any more in there ever.

have another reg 1.46 addons folder (ofp/Addons) with every addon known to man.

when u use this one: reg 1.46 addon folder (ofp/AddOns) with only originals + editorupdate102 like for matches you will get no messages.

when u use this one: reg 1.46 addons folder (ofp/Addons) with every addon known to man. you will probably get data3d.pbo and data.pbo messages.

switch the two folders back and forth to desktop as needed or better yet use short cuts and a mod folder ......see below.

some people may have to reinstall.

If u need to reinstall:

make an ofp_backup folder somewhere.

back up all:

Addons

MPMissions

MPMissions Cache

Your user folder.

Then install CWC 1.2

install 1.46 patch (i think u can skip the others)

install resistance

install 1.91 ( the latest one is all u need, don't need to do 1.85)

good to go.

oh yeah completely uninstall everything after backing up.

Now heres another trick. Create two shortcuts to FlashpointResistance.exe

name one - shortcut_clean

name two - shortcut_all

then in your operationflashpoint folder make a folder called mods and in it put a folder called AddOns with all your addons in it.

ofp/mods/Addons

then on shortcut two (shortcut_all) right click and hit properties and in the target box put:

"C:\Program Files\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.EXE" -nosplash -mod=mods

shortcut_clean will use only clean addons

shortcut_all will use the clean addon folder and the mods addons folder.

this should be made a sticky so every1 can be lead to this thread, so that acceptance of ppl with messages will be denied in servers, because there is a way to finally prevent them

This is a bad thing guys, sure it helps but have you thought about cheaters in this? i tested my co leaders teori here, file checkers only check spesific files in addons folder, what i did was that i modifed a g36a, then made an addon folder like you have explained above, and guess what i did not get detected.

This is definetly not GOOD.

I hope someone can fix this problem... it is not good that you are able to cheat without getting proof against you, harder to catch a cheater when this is possible.

U can have file check check any file in any folder. errrrrrrrr i think i c your point. but the thing is if u check:

C:\Program Files\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\Res\AddOns\g36a.pbo

and it is not there because u put a modified version in a different folder than it will show as a message because it is not there. If the file is there and there is also a modified version in a different folder the game should use the original.
