RN Malboeuf 12 Posted July 8, 2003 a few of us have the merged.pbo and data3d.pbo and data.pbo errors I found out the problem with closer looking Error was Res\Dta\HWTL\Merged.pbo the files were just missing from, actually the whole folder was missing C:\Program Files\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\Res\Dta\HWTL C:\Program Files\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\Res\Dta\HWTL\Merged.pbo C:\Program Files\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\Res\Dta\HWTL\Data.pbo C:\Program Files\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\Res\Dta\HWTL\Data3D.pbo I never had the folder what so ever yet OFP still works now I still had these files they are here C:\Program Files\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\Dta\HWTL C:\Program Files\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\Dta\HWTL\Merged.pbo C:\Program Files\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\Dta\HWTL\Data.pbo C:\Program Files\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\Dta\HWTL\Data3D.pbo now as to why these files are missing i dont know, but I used the Citadel and the ETA server that checks for this to clue me in I copied the files to the res folder and the merged.pbo worked but on the ETA Server the other 2 failed so i got a freind to send me the RES folder and every thing worked you can check my data by simply moving out the following folder and runing OFP and loggin on to the Citadel or ETA server. C:\Program Files\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\Res\Dta\HWTL you will find that the files fail because they are simply not there. as to why I don't know but serveral players have this problem and its possible this is why, with two folders containing the same files confuses me, but OFP will still work fine you can check my results, you'll find them corect
