Yes it looks very nice, but will it match up to DKM's standard?

Hope so! smile_o.gif

I think it looks better already visually, but we'll have to see if the scripting will give DKM a run for their money smile_o.gif

It looks great! And it's good to see some critisism other than "We already have <insert addon here> stop wasting our time!" I wish BRSSEB the best of luck with this project and best of luck in general life aswell. One of the best members of this community smile_o.gif

he brsseb,

The model looks good already, but I have a few thing to say;

-the barrel should not be silver; make it something between grey and black

-the tail; You've used the old tail. The latest comache prototypes have a new tail. No need to explain how it looks, just take a look at these pictures;

http://www.boeing.com/rotorcr....t_4.htm

http://www.boeing.com/rotorcr....t_2.htm

http://www.boeing.com/rotorcr....t_3.htm

-the gear; the front wheels should be further apart. The bars on which the weels are attached touches the hatch (which covers the gear when retracted). In (very) early pictures you had it right; why did you change it?

Take a look at this;

http://www.boeing.com/rotorcraft/military/rah66/images/fcd49084-23.htm

http://www.boeing.com/rotorcraft/military/rah66/images/rah6606.htm

the first picture in flight; on the ground the weels are even further apart.

-finally details;

http://www.boeing.com/rotorcr....t_1.htm

notice the holes, air-intakes ect.ect. Notice the two air-intakes directly above/behind the cockpit. These are absent on your model. Also note the various holes on the top of the tail section. I hope that these can be modelled/textured onto your model.

Note the different rotor-head and the colour of the rotorblades; they're NOT black. You should make them dark grey. Do the same with the tailrotor-blades and texture the other parts of the tail-rotor OD-green (the base colour of the chopper)

I noticed the DOD seal on the "bay door". I don't like it, but it can stay. Just don't forget to write "United States Army" on the tail.

-now; compliments!

The model looks great! The cockpit is exactly right. the nose looks great! The textures look good (becides the absent holes ect.), although I really have to see it on my screen to get the right picture (screenshots taken ingame never show the colours and textures as good as they are). I love the new Hellfire missile. It's textured correctly and looks like the most accurate around. I hope you get the retracting gear to work correctly and get the gun to rotate.

I'm looking forward to it,

my previous post was also mailed to brsseb, because I haven't seen him posting here. This is how he replied:

Quote[/b] ]hi

Thankz for an informative letter, im sure all the team members will look at this info and see if there is anyting we can fix on it.

I sendt a copy of this mail to the texturer so he can look into the logo and missing detail issues. Only think i can say now is that the gear will be retractable, but i cant make it any wider or change it in any way due to ofp engine limit.

I can only have the gear attached to ONE animation at once, so i cant narrow, then raise the gear like it should. Thats why it isnt blueprint accurate, im affraid. Maybe we can fix this when ofp2 comes along smile_o.gif

I've recieved another mail from BRSSEB.

he sent me a picture of the new tail. It has the two vertically placed wings on it. I don't have a website, so I can't post the picture here, but it looks great. Trust me.

The general shape of the chopper really looks like the real thing. I can say that visually it looks like the best comanche right now.
