They can work around that unfortunately. Same goes for activation codes, and if they don't work around it you got a whole lot of ghost users.

The latest IB-version supports HRI (human readable image) when registering, but it requires perl magik to run on the server. For those who dont know, thats where you have to type whatever letters you see in in a picture in order to submit a registration. It should help filter out the majority of the bots registering.

Simply using "BI" or "BIS" in an official statement can lead to confusion, where as "Bohemia Interactive" is perfectly clear [/theory]

When doing any commercial exploit, make sure everything is 100% clear, and not open to interpretation (errors).

Why is this thread locked, while this thread is allowed? No offence to Steve Irwin, may he rest in peace, but I feel it's wrong that some celebreties are apparently "worth" a thread while others are not. It's not like Roger "Syd" Barrett was an indy-artist that nobody heard of.

My thought on the issue is that whilst it's important people find a way to grieve the fact that it took 12 hours for the second reply about Syd Barrett compared to the 3 pages so far for Steve Irwin shows that he was an internationally recognised figure whereas Syd Barett obviously wasn't and would have been best talked about to deal with the grief of his passing in a specific music forum, personally I'd have to say I still have no idea who Syd Barrett was whilst I knew immediately from seeing the name who Steve Irwin was despite never having watched any of his TV Shows.

Maybe it's unfair to judge who is "valid" and who isn't by thread popularity but it's just one of those examples we all come across of how death is exceptionally unfair.

As of right now, there is no concrete answer for ARMA modding tools. When it is released we will see what can be done.
