Baron Hurlothrumbo IIX 0 Posted July 25, 2003 I've introduced the trial game to another forum. Has anyone actually managed to complete pro 1 or 3? I've done all the others. Pro 2 took a while but I have done both stages.
Harnu 0 Posted July 25, 2003 I beat pro 1. It's a bitch to do tho.
Baron Hurlothrumbo IIX 0 Posted July 25, 2003 Just done pro 3. Pro 1 is the only one I cant do. Its that last jump - the down facing platform you have to jump from to the horizontal platform above it. How in the hell can you do that? Do you go slowly and jump off the back wheel at the lower end of the slope, or what? I think I *MIGHT* be able to do it if the respawn started you further up the slope. But you can't even roll back up it.
mr burns 133 Posted July 29, 2003 I´ve found an update on the trial game. It seems that there are new Level available and also a Downloadable Version  Get it here

It takes a lot of tries, I really just got lucky

hellfish6 7 Posted July 29, 2003 Hey guys... if you thought Freelancer was dissappointing, but still want a good space game, try Escape Velocity: Nova. It's shareware, so you get to play the full game for free for the first 30 days. I got it a week ago and I'm having a lot of fun with it. Only downside is the 2D graphics, but I think the gameplay makes up for it. Download it HERE.

Jester983 0 Posted July 29, 2003 @ July 28 2003,22:36)]And yes, you are correct, I used to be a Mac user *runs and hides* I feel your pain... at my elementary school they made us use macs and i ended up wanting one. *also runs and hides* Does anyone feel that the trial game could be the next 3d pong that entertained us all till resistance came out. But this time itll be for OFP2?

Baron Hurlothrumbo IIX 0 Posted July 29, 2003 That elite game is good. Â I want FAQs though. Â I had that sleek light cruiser thing and I sold it for the old carrier thing. Â I cant ever find new ships *edit* ooo gamefaqs
crashdome 3 Posted July 30, 2003 With all these games you have to give them a few things: 1. They don't require patches 2. Don't have long cutscenes and deep plots 3. They don't render your computer archaic (in fact it's reverse) 4. It takes just as long to "beat em" as any other commercial game. This reminds me of the good ol days..... when I had more "fun" than frustration. Or am I just turning into an old fart? ***Goes to order subscriptions to "Reminisce" and "Reader's Digest"***
Harnu 0 Posted July 30, 2003 Anyone remember the peg game? Â Tests your IQ supposedly. Â Ahhh the good 'ol days edit: And yes I have done it with leaving one peg remaining. Baron Hurlothrumbo IIX 0 Posted July 30, 2003 Where are the rules to that game? Â I cant get any of the rocks to move. *EDIT* never mind it was a bug. Works now.
FSPilot 0 Posted July 30, 2003 I think I got 1 once, most of the time I get 4. There's got to be a strategy for this.

Harnu 0 Posted July 30, 2003 You have to hop one peg over the other. Do this as many times iwth them and if you end up with one peg left, you win.
