scousejedi 0 Posted June 18, 2003 Firstly I have not used BIS directory structure as O2 was setup on my machine already Files and directorys are c:\buldozer.exe c:\data c:\data3D c:\TutIsland In TOOLS SETTINGS c:\visitor c:\TutIsland c:\data3D c:\data3D c:\data3D c:\TutIsland Real Time Viewer: c:\buldozer.exe -dx -window When I CNTL F7 I get a little message on the status bar on the bottom left saying 'Cant Initialise' The Viewer does not load. When I Run the application from the Startmenu Buldozer does load but is all sea. Going back to Visitor and CNTL F8 brings up a dialog box saying 'Buldozer Reloaded' but still there is no land visible. I am right clicking the Camera location over the island as well so its not that. I just don't know why it wont initialise, ATM it looks like Victor and Buldozer are not talking. SFG 1 Posted June 18, 2003 Are there textures on the island?
scousejedi 0 Posted June 18, 2003 There was no island but I have a system now. 1. Using the startmenu begin Buldozer There will be only sea. 2. Alt Tab back to Visitor 3. Connect to Viewer - CNTL F7 (If you alt tab now its still only sea) 4. Reload Viewer CTL F8 (If you alt tab now its still all sea) 5. Right click in Visitor to move the camera position - its a white square. Only then does Visitor seem to talk to Buldozer All of a sudden land appears as if by magic. Number 5 was the thing I was missing. Btw its Numberpad 4,6,8 and 2 to move with the + and - next to these keys to zoom in or out.
