Perhaps start and end missions in flight? In our campaign the GR3 are used by the IA and not by the player. Then, the player never will see if he uses the VTOL or no. Harriers were based on land during the conflict. Engineers made a runway in the landing area. They weren't based there though - they only used it for being on standby closer to the battlefield. These units look alittle... rougher then other units, not that that's a bad thing, complete opposite in fact, they look more realistic in my opinion.
