People who like Star Wars arent going to make a new tank addon, they are going to make a STAR WARS addon.

Lots of people are making OFP type units so get over it already.

I'd say they got a pretty big choice out there wouldn't you?

Its not like there are any games comparable to OFP so why transform it into something that can be found elsewhere?

What would it hurt if someone made one...if you dont like it and dont wanna play it...dont download it. To answer the question...I think someone is actually making one...theres a web site out there somewhere devoted to sci-fi mods for OFP...unfortunately, I cant think of it off the top of my head, but I do remember some nice screenshots of Star Wars air units.

Yes I've seen X wing or something recently ingame.Somebody is doing some and I can't recall the name or place either.

And some of those Star Wars games are ok, but they arent using the OFP engine are they?

I hear so many people say WW2 addons are useless,but you don't see that stopping me ! I want more planes and the people that don't want them have the option of downloading or not, I can't see where what I make would bother anyone.

I was even thinking of a space station at some point , gonna slam me for that?

we are working hard on the Starwars mod plus other Sci fi related things.. it may look discontiued but thats because we are working hard on getting these done to best performance with minimal error, so do loose hope

and shashman no 1 is forcing u to play this MOD and only coz its starwars, it dosent mean its not military.. this MOD is focusing on the Military side of starwars.. there wont be any Jedi watsoever.. well not for OFP1

if you want to no more about the goings on come and post it on our forum that way you will get a response from our model and mission makers

Be forwarned.... the waters are shark infested, and this mod is a nice bloody cow. Of course, most of the sharks are of the Juris Doctor graduate variety.

That is, all things Lucas related, tend to have watchdogs looking for just such things (maybe even using the force to sense them?) . Many a mod has met a swift and decisive end from Lucas's own real life Jedi. And they weild a mean fountain pen!

Maybee change the name to Star War, with such infamous characters as Been Kenobee, and Dof Vader. (just remember, in most any context, satire and parodies are 100% legal. )

there wont be any force using.. like i said this is aiming for the Military side of Starwars.. u play as a soldier nothing more.. the only time u may see a jedi is in cutseans telling u ure mission.. and as i also said there wont be no lightsabers..

put some new screens of the units and please change the textures on the ties and on the other air veichles

because the external parts of them just use a grey pattern colour

no hes a sith witch is basicly a dark jedi.. and depending on the timeline we do this campaign depends on if he apears or not.. and the pictures u have seen are beta pictures of what we have done so far.. the ties textures are near finnished to what u have seen but will be sharpend up

the reason y we havent released these to the public yet is because we are wanting to get every little detail right

if u want to no how long to wait.. y not go a post on our forums and ask the modelters textureers etc they will give u a better description then i can

Let the addon makers and modders do their thing. Dont give them the "OFP is a contemporary military sim" or what not. This mod will not be OFP it will be OFP:Star-Wars And i hope they disregard what some say and continue work on the mod. The OFP engine is very versatile and thus we are bound to see lots of non realistic mods (i am for it)

And when this mod comes out you will have a "In a galaxy far away a long time ago military sim" How's that for starters
