Thanks for the icon biggrin.gif, now I can replace the DoD icon I used wink.gif.

Some generals with those long greatcoats for Germans would be great (I own a greatcoat and they are damn kewl wink.gif).

well, it's better than nothing...but it sort of looks weird in 32 bit 1280x960.

If you were one of the poor souls who downloaded the .exe version of the demo, you can find the official I44 icon in there somewhere abouts...

I tried to put it up on the web for those of you who don't have that version, but the file gets really messed up after the upload... confused.gif

Yes I have used them. Scripts are in mission named SiegePrizzi, you can get it from here.

And here's how to use the scripts:

1. Copy the scripts to your mission folder

2. Give name to both gunner and asst. gunner, for example 30calgunner and 30calasst

3. Create two triggers. Into first trigger's condition line put alive 30calgunner and to activation line [30calgunner] exec "deploy_30calUnit.sqs"

4. And to second trigger put alive 30calasst to condition line and [30calasst] exec "deploy_30calTripodUnit.sqs" to activation line

This how it works for me (tested in multiplayer also).

And if you want to use MG-42, just use mg42 in triggers rather than 30cal, example: [mg42gunner] exec "deploy_mg42Unit.sqs"<span id='postcolor'>

One word: Swastikas. They are illegal in Germany (movies can show them and books can have pictures of them in them) But sadly games aren't considerd art by some and thus they cannot be in a game. Also the movies and books that has Swastkias or other NS symbols in them "have" to be of historical value or be in a movie that describes the holocaust (spelling?)

I remember there are level you have to wear german officer uniform, and the the german soldier will salute you in that way(is funny).  biggrin.gif

Well the "hail" or whatever you should call it aint a Swastika is it? And also many games are re-done to take those symbols away (for example i think RTCW's Swastikas are modified to look like a cross or something similar) It's called a false democracy wink.gif

Anyways back on topic:

I hope when we see the full-mod that I44 team will incorporate civilians in WW2-style clothing, not for killing or anything but it ambushing convoys is always fun. And all the more so if there are resistance fighters in the trucks. Great job I44! love you all (yes Evilmaker aswell EVIL EVIL!wink.gif

Hi people,

We are working hard atm to fix bugs and also a total overhaul of the weapons code.

The campaign is moving along well and we should be beta testing it very soon. We still need voice actors though.

I'd like to thank everyone who provided feedback and especially the people that reported bugs.

We plan to release the campaign and a patch v1.1 soon, *maybe* 1-2 weeks. Also we'll release a exe installer for the Demo V1.1 (ie. Demo V1 addons + patch + campaign).<span id='postcolor'>

Ok now to sound off on what I think of this demo. It rocks! smile.gif Only problem that I saw was the "ghostly white" soliders. Anyone else getting that? I have a Gefore2 MX graphics card. Is there anything in Flashpoint to help solve the "white soldier" problem I get with these newer addons. I'm 1.90 version of Flashpoint. The Sicilian island confused me at first because at first glance it just looked like the regular Flashpoint type of island. I think there needs to be more of a mix between grassy and sand textures. Correct me if I'm wrong but is Siciliy supposed to be that green? There is not that much sandy texture. wink.gif The soldiers are awsome. I've had a small tank battle between Marcel's Sherman tank and Invasion 44's Tigers and its quite an epic battle. I got a Normany map [i forget where I found it. The WW2 Engineer team I think.] It represents Normany to allmost the slightest detail. I lkie that sniper rifle on I44's U.S. troops. I took out a whole squad of German reinforcments with ease. Once though I was about to finnish off some Germans when I saw one of them coming up the hill to get me. I waitied beccause he was down bellow me [his head disapeared for a moment]. I was about to shoot him between the eyes [ we were very close at this point] when he raised his hand. I had no time to even pull the trigger. I was like a deer caught in head lights. He threw a grenade. Just a tiny toss and I was blown to bits. Fun. I took on a town on the Sicilian map. 2 German groups of soldiers, a halftrack, 2 mortors, and 2 machine guns. It was at night and I was in my Sherman [Thanks Marcel. Hehehehe!!]. I poured round after round up that hill. then went in a picked off any survivors. The only problem was that the mortors did not seem to fire on me. Nor did the machine guns. I found tihs strange. It was set to "combat" for them all in behavior. All in all great fun. The Anatov can't seem to work for me. I need a plane that my troops can jump from [one that has a high flying height already. I don't want to have to fool with scripts etc.] Anyone got and plane suggestions? It doen't have to be a WW2 plane either. I do transport unlod or just unload and everyone ignore our leader when he says to get out of the plane. Great Mod guys at I44. You are da bomb [V1?]! tounge.gif

Just to take this off-topic. A heil hitler thingie already exists, it's in that mission "V2-Test launch" or something to that effect. But i am not sure if it's animated though, but the guy at the gates yells heil everytime you walk past him....

Anyways RMATICH the white soldier problem i think happens to everybody (LOD bug if i am not misstaken) Also some of the 82nd's helmets "glows" wich i recognize from the minidemo. Great work I44 though some bugs here and there it rules supreme.

What gets me is that there are obvious LOD bugs for a demo that's been worked on for how long now?

Are people blind?

The INV44 demo is obviously a great demo but I just dont see why they wouldnt fix that kind of obvious bug!?
