Computer help.

Recommended Posts

I am shopping for a High End System to support large games on Flashpoint..

I have only been able to cutomize with a major computer company called "Alienware" You may have heard of them.. lol, but There computers are very pricy, I was wondering if anyone knew a direct link to a website that once i click the link it will take me to a "create a computer" Or a customization of a computer screen.. I am looking for a good computer company.. If you have a link to just a basic site that you put what you want with no specific maker thats fine also.. i just need a direct link to a customization of a Desktop-Laptop.

The site should have a similer interface likke this.... http://www.alienware.com/System_Pages/area-51.aspx

Also, is there a huge Difference if i got a Laptop (Excluding Price) that would effect gameplay?

Where are you? UK?

If so try Leapfrog Computers based in Yorkshire, funny accents but very good service and you can customise your computer easily.

Novatech, i didn't go for this one myself but there are lot's of reccomendations.

Also try here for loads of PC people in the UK and opinions of them.

Build it yourself...

Overclockers UK are bloody great, and only sell high peformance parts. I've built 3 machines from them, and they are all reliable and bloody fast. I managed to clock mine pretty far (XP2100 - 1.7 clocked to XP2800 - 2.4) smile.gif All on on air as well!

I am Running in the United States.

These websites are fine except that i cannot put everything i want into 1 screen and compare and change my choices.

You don't want the UK then, PCs are cheaper in the US and delivery would be outrageous. I can't really help you much, i don't know the market.

He's already said that he's in the USA, so I doubt Dabs or Overclockers would be options.

My personal online retailer of choice is ebuyer.com, they're a UK company but have opened a USA branch, worth checking out, cheapest prices I've seen in the UK so one would assume their USA branch would be cheap too smile.gif
