Resistance single player mission r04

Recommended Posts

I have been trying to complete this mission but it seems extremely difficult. My group takes out a few vehicles and then all my support goes down in flames.  I'm then all alone in my helicopter and besides trying to take out the rest of the vehicles I have to fight three enemy helicopters.  I'm finding it extremely difficult to take out the 'copters.  If I try to run away and get to the support base it seems they either follow me there and blow things up or beat me to it and blow things up.  I end up not being able to repair or rearm or whatever.

Has anyone completed this mission?  If so, how'd ya manage it?  Thanks.

Hello, just be sure to take out those too vulcans and the hind will provide good help against the 2 apache helicopters, then take out all armor and a Mi17 will come with some infantry to clear the area, and to fire at the enemy copters be sure to use the "V" key, hope this helps smile.gif .

I just completed this mission last night. Just make sure to take out the vulcans and watch out your leader doesn't die. After I destroyed all the armor and choppers I had to hang around and kill a few infantry before the leader finally decided it was time to return to base.

Yup, I finally did it. Problem was my leader kept dying. The first time he lives I'm able to complete the mission. I've now done all the single player and campaign missions! biggrin.gif

Out of curiosity what technique did you use to kill the infantrymen? I seem to have a very difficult time with that task. Thanks for any pointers.

Many people find this mission hard. I did too at first but its actually very easy. All you have to do is fly high and as soon as you get into contact range fire one TOW at everything marked either APC, M113 or Vulcan which will take out all the AA. Then fly (West I think but may not be) and take out the two apaches on the ground, then do the same for the two apaches in the main base. From then on you have no opposition apart from maybe the occasional tank machine gun but just FFAR them.
