I didn't have any frames/sec problems, but then I just got a new computer. Does this game have a mission editor? I thinking about getting it since its on sale for $10 less than it was before and that includes the strategy guide thing.

the interesting point will be MP will it have massive games like df2 which were sum of the best ive played, it vs ofp isnt as good, it dose urban combat alot better and sum other things but overall ofp lasts longer. But mp will be intresting to see if tis anything like df2 it would be awsome, ofp jus donst get the sorta human vs human mp i like(short small games with few numbers is ofps way).

I havent found any Co Op missions yet, mostly the MP games are about kill ratio's, medals and progressing through ranks.

MP Specialities are:

Sniper

CQB

Grenadier

Machine Gunner

Medic

For the somali militia the AI is quite good if you believe the movie. Running and shooting at the same time and so on.

But what I hate is the AI of my fellow "elite" soldiers. Hey, 75% of the times I die I`m gunned down by my own soldiers. They kill me with full auto when standing behind me and shooting at an enemy I`ve already taken down.

Man, i can't wait to play the MP, those sniper rifles look soooo damn nice and they shoot very well in SP. And i'm sure it'll be the same as in every other DF game, all the snipers use the barret because it's "easier" to kill with it.

Ha! I love this, everyone underestimates the power of the other sniper rifles. You need to get used to them but once you get the hang of them you can kick some serious ass! The other snipers are a lot better than the barret!

It's soooo easy to find all those barret snipers, you can clearly hear those bastards from huuuuge ranges! And of course when you can't find them like that, just wait until they're out of ammo and then you shoot 'em while they run to the armory

The barret has very little ammo, and most ppl who use it fire 10 bullets to hit 1 man, they just shoot in the general direction of the enemy and hope they hit something!

Haha, i really love DF!

My favorite snipers were M40 in df1 and 2 and in TFD the M21 kicked ass. LW sucked

And i think in BHD i'll choose the M21 or the M24 or the new rifle... Not sure yet, i can't remember exactly what rifle i liked the most.

Anyone get the 'Room Takedowns' to work properly in the SP game? Its a good idea, but it doesnt always work well with the AI. When you initiate a Room Takedown, your team will stack up behind you outside a room, then in theory one will lob a flashbang into the room, then everyone rushs into the room to clear it. However more often then not, lol the stupid AI will through a flashbang and hit the side of the doorway or something that it will bounce off, right back at you and blind the whole team when it goes off

The M21 is probably the best all round rifle IMO, good for sniping in urban areas, along with claymores they are a good combination in MP

The MCRT.300 Tactical is the best long distance rifle,

and there is nothing more satisfying than getting a confirmed headshot from 800m+ on those pesky kids who are strafing your team to oblivion with their SAW's and GPMG's

I love long range headshots on one of those full auto bastards!

There's nothings as fucked up as meeting one of those guys while you sneak to your spot, so there really isn't anything as satisfying as taking em down with one great shot between the eyes!

Must agree that the M21 is best for closer range, M24 is probable good for medium range and as you said the MCRT for long range.

a little bit offtopic but yeh i got this for my birthday and now im stuck on "Shore Patrol". how the HELL do i get across the minefield? its werd my men all running around and not dying while im crawling around and blowing up as soon as i get on the beach (almost). Please help, as the other missions appear "locked" until this one is done. thankyou very much,

p.s. my favourite mission is "russian underground" if they did it with fast ropes it would be AMAZING.

Its quite easy to get through the mine field, if you look closely you will see a path distinguished by red markers on the posts that are stuck in the ground, follow them, just walk as close to them as you can and it will lead you straight through to the other side without detonating any mines
