edc 0 Posted April 5, 2003 I'm assuming it works in other prograns?
blackdog~ 0 Posted April 5, 2003 You have to click down the mousewheel, then you can freely use the action menu with it.
Mister Frag 0 Posted April 5, 2003 You may need to update your Logitech MouseWare driver to a newer version, or abandon it altogether and use the standard Microsoft mouse drivers that come with Windows. The Logitech driver is notorious for not working correctly with OFP and some other games.
Gothico 0 Posted April 5, 2003 Hast du unter den Mauseigenschaften dem Mausrad die "middle mouse button" Funktion zugewiesen? Sonst gehts bei Lgitech nicht (immer). beshure that your mousewheel has the "middle mouse button" function...

Nimrodhunter 0 Posted April 11, 2003 Well, I have the same mouse and HAD the same prob, so I upgraded to the newest driver version(Driver Ver.: 9.76) and it WORKED!!
R. Gerschwarzenge 0 Posted April 11, 2003 Yes, having the latest Logitech drivers is probably the best solution. </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">Gaming Compatibility Changes With version 9.75 and above, MouseWare now sends Microsoft native wheel messages instead of standard scroll bar messages. Because of the changes to scrolling implementation for MouseWare 9.75, the "Office Compatible Scrolling" and "Scroll in active window only" check boxes in MouseWare are no longer available. This new release should provide better wheel/roller function in games, as most games look for native wheel messages and don't respond correctly to scroll bar messages. If you are unsure what type of scrolling messages your game supports, please contact your game manufacturer. MouseWare also no longer provides button assignments when playing games. This is because MouseWare disables the component responsible for retaining button assignments (EM_EXEC) when it detects gaming applications that use Direct Input and/or OpenGL. This button functionality is fully restored when you go back to non-gaming applications. Please note that you may only be able to use 5 buttons on the MX700 or MX500 in some games. You may be be able to program buttons 6, 7, and 8 in some games by using the workaround offered below. Look for added support for these buttons in future releases of MouseWare.<span id='postcolor'>
