Firstly, "your" language is not your language, but a bastardised and butchered version of ENGLISH.

Secondly, you can not expect a foreigner to speak finest Oxford English (or Harvard Yank for that matter ), period. A foreigner will not know a foreign language 100%, if you are too much of a bigot to even leave this little tolerance, then I suggest you find yourself another forum.

As for the English nonsense, if you can always try to use good grammer and punctuation. It makes things easier to read.

However, you should never berate someone who has taken the time and effort to learn your language, as the only person who looks stupid is yourself.

Sadly, my French and German is pretty poor, so I'm very grateful that they take the time and the effort to post in English.

Ugh that pisses me off.

Americans who think or rather EXPECT others to know English and to be able to communicate in English just because they are too lazy to become fluent in another language freakin' chaps my hide.

They only person they are belittling are themselves.

Not to mention I've counted a number of grammatical mistakes in said posters writing.

I for one am grateful that they even care to speak in English. No doubt, most of the members of the forum could go off in any number of languages and leave us Americans behind and out of the conversation. And let us not forget that many of the European members speak and write a hell of a lot better English than we so-called "native speakers."

So get off the high horse and go take another language to back those words up with. English ain't the only language, and it certainly isn't the most widely used.

Last week, at the start of the war, I posted about similar extreme weather patterns here in Israel and those in Iraq at the same time.

FYI, temperatures are expected to shoot through the roof later today, going up to 30 degrees centigrade in central Israel. Over the next few days, temperatures are expected to climb even higher through the weekend.

This heatwave is a little bit earlier. Usually arrives in mid-late April.

BBC is reporting that Karbala has fallen to the coalition and that all the roads in and out are under control. The battle was expected to last over 24 hours and it only took 3. I hope this is the beginning of a positive trend.

As for the English commentary, dude, don't be a lameass! Where the hell are these guys supposed to practice and perfect their English? This seems like an ideal place to work on one's language skills. Oh, BTW, your Spanish ain't perfect either.

"fallen" is a very relative term. They have surrounded it, but the city itself is in Iraqi control.
