dm 9 Posted March 17, 2003 A texture replacement pack can be made without the need to edit the cpp... all you have to do is to replace the textures in data.pbo with your new version... I play with a mixture of BIS, Killiki (sp) and Ash's realism packs, all i have done is chosen the best textures for each vehicle, and replaced the BIS ones... To retexture untis and vehicles up to the quality of todays addons, and maybe even retexture the older islands, buildings etc. I doubt BIS will take up the task (going by the interview with Marek they won't be doing much more for original OFP), so maybe as a combined community effort we could create this pack piece by piece. It worked fine in SP but in MP it crashed most of the time. So maybe you can't really change the game models and play in MP...custom textures work fine though. SILESIAN 0 Posted May 4, 2003 This one I don't retextured any units, I use sigma's T72, T80 addons and change originals in "Data 3D". I played with these "new tanks" in SP and MP games and I don't see any problems in the game................hm..I found one thing - resistance T72,T80 don't have green lines. Maybe somebody now what is to do to their visibility. I also changed white sport car and jellow normal "skoda" for Black Baron's CORVETTE and CHALLENGER - this one any problems, everything is allright  Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
