joltan 0 Posted March 7, 2003 That download sounds nice, but can you please offer it as a zip or rararchive - or at least as an installer. Why's that a .com? Do you really expect me to execute that? Is that an installer, does it allow setting a path or does it just install it somewhere???

Jamesia 0 Posted March 7, 2003 I dont think flashpoint NEEDS big planes. Maybe for decoration it does need a model one. Like, not to be used, but to sit on the airfield and look cool.

Commander-598 0 Posted March 8, 2003 Try redownloading it. When asks whether you want to Save it or Run, select Save. You will then be given a dialogue box with the editable filename, filetype and where to save it. In the filetype box, select ,from the dropdown menu, All Files. Then rename the file XXX.zip. That should work.
~Too Tall~ 0 Posted March 8, 2003 well "onn" suggestion worked thou i wish he wasnt such a dick about it. i have taken advanced computer classes and i do know ALOT more then the average person and i know for a fact im not the only person here that asked that ?. (posted or not) anyway. i just realized the C130 shouldnt be classified as a "big plane" that thing is tiney tiny compared to the rest

~Too Tall~ 0 Posted March 8, 2003 OFP doenst need a UFO either but we got one. we dont need a space shutle, but we got one. theres alot of shit we have for OFP that we dont "need". come to think of it we dont "need" ANY unofical addon. but we gotem. and we got wonderful ppl that makem. so if u dont likeem. dont download them. and DONT bitch about them. thats all.... have a ncie day
~Too Tall~ 0 Posted March 8, 2003 and if we want to talk about "need"ing. as an OFP pilot i NEED more aircraft to fly, big or small. so there
Unatomber 0 Posted March 8, 2003 Flashpoint definately needs a good quality cargo plane to transport paratroopers effectively and quickly. As default, the biggest plane the cessna can carry 4 men including the pilot. Choppers are sometimes too slow and because of that are more vulnerable to enemy AA-fire. joltan 0 Posted March 8, 2003 Got it unpacked - thats what you get if you're blind! Now the ramp is fine, but the menu is in czech (or whatever) and the textures still suck. Any chances that the menu entry gets changed to english, and that someone retextures the plane with some high res textures?
2stoned2kil- 0 Posted March 8, 2003 Its time for BAS to make one But i thought that G8 was making a real nice one
furia 10 Posted March 8, 2003 Just a note. C-130 Hercules is not a large aircraft, it is considered a Medium Transport. Although not really a pure STOL (Short Take Off and landing) she surely can handle short runways. Larger planes have no use on OFP since we do not have many runways that can handle such planes and if realistic flight modelling they will need the whole Everon as turning radius. C-130 is perfect for OFP, it has the right size and does on RL what we do need on most OFP operations. As its counterpart there is no doubt AN-12 is the one for East. 2stoned2kil- 0 Posted March 8, 2003 It could be a high quality C-130 if Bas would make it , with some nice animations like opening cargo doors and stuff

SpclFrcsSnpr 0 Posted March 8, 2003 I have begun making a c130 and the outside model is almost completly done. I think it looks pretty cool. I am making it with a ramp like that of bas mh47 because then you could see out the back and besides the c130 ramp is not all one piece its two so half goes up and the other lower part goes down to become a ramp. Those of you who are also in the forums at ofpec I have a thread there with pics.Ofpec Thread
