FAST ATTACK: The Agitator

Track down and eliminate an NVA recruiter operating in the Binh Long Province near South Vietnam's border towards Cambodia. A manhunt that may result in two very different scenarios will follow. This Fast Attack mission may be enjoyed as single player or as a multi player coop scenario for up to 10 players. It's voice acted with cinematic intros in both versions. The mission requires the S.O.G Prairie Fire DLC.

Fast Attack is exactly what it sounds like: Action packed missions that can be completed in 30 minutes. They’re all built on the same framework. The object here is to make high quality missions with simple tools that doesn’t require much scripting skills at all. 

 

Both novice and experienced mission makers should be able to use the core framework used in these missions. They mainly rely on triggers and easy-to-use script snippets that work in SP as well as a hosted Mp environment. Fast Attack is not tested, nor designed for, dedicated servers. This version is made with S.O.G Prairie Fire units.

 

De-pbo the framework and open FA00: Core Framework (the yellow folder) in the 3DEN editor. You may now create a Fast Attack Mission of your own by copying all core content into any user made mission. Or spice up an existing mission with a few script snippets. Don't forget the description.ext and the init.sqf documents.

Fun mission. The briefing is just as detailed as the regular missions in SOG. Especially liked the picture of the target. Intro was also fun. And yet the mission itself is very to the point. Quite difficult for 1 person to play alone, however. Looking forward to others!

PS. but I also noticed the automatic zoom-out whenever you checked your map. Which was repeatedly frustrating. However really the only critique.

Zoom-in you mean? Yes, I will probably remove that part in the next update, if you are not inside a vehicle. Then it's supposed to zoom out. Why? Because when you order helicopter support and enter the extraction helo, the map always zoom in so much that you cannot select a transport/unload position without scrolling for half a minute. a
