maty105 0 Posted July 25, 2022 Hi there, me and my friend decided to try out multiplayer in CWA. However, I'm using multiplayer in this game for first time in my life, and we came across a problem: When I click on "New", it brings me back to the multiplayer main menu, switching from sockets to DirectPlay does nothing, just increases the loading time and in the end still brings me back to the multiplayer main menu. Is there any solution for this? I couldn't find anything on the internet, not even on Steam discussions and yes, I have port forwarding enabled on my router Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
zulu1 145 Posted July 25, 2022 Hosting a multiplayer games is a bit different than running a server. In host mode there isn't a lobby per'se, but you should see all the islands on the MP screen. If you got this then just choose an island and a mission. I don't think you'll have any luck with direct play. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
