Hello!

Our horse now has functional hitpoints. If you shoot in the legs, the animal will go limp. Shooting in the neck or head will kill the animal instantly. Of course, all the damage is visible directly on the animal with localized (blood) wounds.

Unfortunately, no, you can't fire from the horse. We are thinking about the best way to integrate this feature but we can't promise that it will be added.

Hello everyone!

 

We announced the change of direction of the Libertad project last September, which was a project formerly turned to the “lifers” and which has evolved into a mod benefiting the whole Arma 3 community.

 

We can now announce the final release date of Libertad which is the consecration of almost 5 years of work, done by 64 people in total who took turns over the years and 14 of whom are still here today to deliver you a game experience that reflects our original vision. We don't forget all the external people who helped us during these 5 years. Thank you to all these people who contributed to the Projets Edaly association for having allowed us to concretize what was at the beginning an idea and which became a life project for some, for others experience but especially challenges to overcome as much human as technological. The idea of surpassing oneself is part of the DNA of Projets Edaly and we can say that we have done it!

 

We have the great pleasure to give you the release date of Libertad: you will be able to access the All-In-One pack on… watch the video to find out 😉

Can you shed any light on what other animals will be residing in Libertad, or is that a surprise for us all?

Hello!

There will be horses, crocodiles, crabs, cows and boars. We may add more exotic animals in the future.

We wanted to make a small announcement to let you know what is planned for the coming weeks. First of all, thank you for your kind messages, feedback and suggestions. Your messages and feedback motivate us to do more, we are glad to see that you like the mod so much.

We have had many bug reports and are actively working on them. We are planning to make an update for next week. This will fix some of the many reported bugs to ensure a better game experience. There will be no new content added with this update but we have started working on improving weapons, units and the map. We will also soon update the Tiger mod to make it compatible with our predator system. We prefer not to give you a date to avoid postponing it.
 

Some of you have made awesome (and funny) screenshots and we wanted to share them with everyone.  Pheasant-One shared a typical day in Isla Nueva while CoffeePot was busy paradropping tactical crocodiles on the island.  Shadoe obviously had a good time flying over Campeones and it looks like EO is busy preparing his next wildlife documentary about tigers.

Hello! 🙂

We will soon deploy a new update adding more LOD paths in some buildings. We continue to improve the existing structures. We are also working on improving the weapons (animations and sounds). We haven't improved the units yet, we are focusing on the structures for now. Regarding the separation of the "AIO" mod into smaller packs, this requires us to change the structure of the mod slightly. Of course, this is still planned, but it will take some time, we'll let you know when it's ready.
 

Some people have also asked us if the mod will be ported to Reforger. We have no plans at this time to port Libertad to Reforger.

I´m puzzled as not a single mission for this esquisite terrain is available at SWS nor Discord... or am I missing those out? I know you guys are working on a campaign, but it is not out yet (and the terrain and bonus assets are already a helluva job per ce) thou a showcase mission would be lovely for us SP guys (wink wink) - as online servers it has seen a lot of action by the screenshots on discord! 
Anyways, this mod (as it is more than just a terrain) and Cytech are a blessing for this community!

There are many mission being worked on for this terrain as we speak. Most on halt due to Reforger

 

Don't worry, this package is so well made that it will get many cool missions I am sure of that.

We are working on separating other elements of the mod so that the whole community can enjoy our creations. We are happy to be able to give access to this element of Libertad to more people by making it independent.

After the horses, it's time for the rest of the animals to be made available in a standalone mod. 🐊

 

Libertad - SA – Animals is now available on the Steam Workshop. By combining it with our composition "Libertad - Predators", you can add predators and preys to your single, co-op or multiplayer missions.
