CPT_ALPHA 0 Posted July 7, 2021 Does anyone know how to add a note in the editor, but without it being inventoried or collected? I mean that it can only be read without taking it. Maybe it's simple and I haven't realized it. Haha. Thx. PD: An example of what I need is shown in the attached video.https://youtu.be/EI047z1ALKA?t=
BaronessXX 0 Posted August 2, 2023 Yeah, you can totally make notes readable without picking them up in the ARMA 3 editor. It's pretty straightforward, actually. When placing the note in the editor, just go to its "Attributes" and under "General," uncheck the "Item (can be picked up)" box. That way, players can read the note but won't pick it up.Speaking of notes, I recently stumbled upon this cool website https://notesonline.com which lets you write anonymous notes that are automatically deleted after they're read. It's pretty neat and could come in handy for sharing secret messages or just having some fun.

On the off chance that this isn't an example of ChatGPT getting "dumber," perhaps you could provide a screenshot of the alleged object menu items you have described.
