Vacuum Cleaner - How To Maintain Your Shark Navigator Lift-Away Deluxe NV360 Upright Vacuum

Introduction

If your Shark NV360 hasn't been maintained for a long time, its performance may get down. The main reason is that your Shark vacuum is often clung with dirt, hair, or blockages, so it needs proper cleaning to function well again.

Follow this guide below to increase your vacuum's cleaning performance and keep it last long!

Maintenance

Empty The Dust Cup

  • To detach the dust cup from your Shark navigator lift away deluxe NV360's motor base, pull the latches on the sides of the dust cup up and outwards.
  • Hold the dust cup over a garbage can and push the bottom door to release the dust cup. Remove any debris attached to the screen filter within the dust cup with a dry cloth or paper towel.
  • After cleaning, attach the two latches to the tabs on the sides of the dust cup and press down to secure the dust cup in place.

Clean The Pet Power Brush

  • To clean the pet power brush, gently tilt it forward while sliding the locking clasp forward.
  • Carefully remove any obstructions or debris from the spinning bristle brush, and use scissors to cut away any accumulation of hair or string that has accumulated around the rotating bristle brush.
  • To reassemble, you have to insert the tabs on its front edge of the bottom cover into the appropriate holes in the upper half of the case and tilt it back down until it clicks into place.

Check For Blockages

  • Remove the hose from the rear of the portable Lift-Away® pod by pushing up on the tabs and squeezing them together. Ensure that the hose and pod apertures are free of obstructions.
  • Detach the portable Lift-Away pod from the motorized floor nozzle by removing the extension wand and dust cup. Check for obstructions in all of the apertures.
  • Remove the hose from the motorized floor nozzle at the top by pressing the tabs together and pulling out. You will remove the connection from the hose connector at the bottom. Check for obstructions in all of the apertures.

Clean The Pre-Motor filters

  • Take the dust cup out of the machine.
  • Remove the two filters from the top of the motor base by pulling them out.
  • Thoroughly rinse them in warm water. (not washing the filter in the dishwasher)
  • Let it dry in the air before reinstalling.
  • Cleaning the HEPA Filter after the motor has been removed.

Clean The Post-Motor HEPA Filter

  • Remove the filter cover from the front of the vacuum and set it aside by using a pull-up on the tab.
  • Remove the HEPA filter by pushing it straight out of the housing.
  • Remove any accumulated dust and dirt.
  • Wash the filter under the faucet (not putting it in the dishwasher or washing machine).
  • Let the filter dry in the air before using it again.
  • Place your filter back into the vacuum after being thoroughly dried.

Conclusion

After all, remember to periodically inspect your Shark Navigator Lift-Away NV360 to find out signs of tear, wear, or damage. Being appropriately maintained may last longer than you have expected, and of course, this process will also save you money.

We hope that some helpful tips mentioned above and these Shark navigator NV360  reviews will help you remain your Shark in good working condition.
