We strive for quality experiences in our missions and campaigns which are custom tailored in real time by our dedicated Zeus. What types of missions does the 88th conduct? The 88th SFG's mission scope is extremely broad. Anything really! Simple roadblock security, search and destroy, heavy convoys, infiltration and demolition, HVT capture/kill missions, the list goes on. We do everything under the sun. If you've got an idea for an operation, run it by the unit staff and we can work it in. Does the 88th have any training requirements? The only roles that require training in the 88th are senior leadership positions, RTO, medic, and pilot. **Please note that if you have previous experience and can demonstrate that your abilities are to our standard then, the training requirement is waived.** Occasionally we run FTX (field training exercises) as a whole unit to increase our proficiency in areas we all find we are lacking. What can you expect by playing with the 88th? Unit longevity - We've all played the Arma series for well over a decade whereas some of us have played as early as the original Operation Flashpoint. The 88th isn't disappearing. Dynamic Operations - Our operations are Zeus led and sometimes include scripts to enhance a story line or bring a new layer of chaos to the battlefield. You can expect a few elements of roleplay depending on what our tasking is at the time. Role Diversity - We do not have permanent roles within the unit. Nobody wants to be an assistant gunner forever. Roles change from operation to operation so, you can expect to play as an Anti-Tank rifleman one op then, as a marksman the next. This doesn't mean you can't communicate a preference for a particular role. We will always consider player preference. Fresh Environments - We do many missions among a single campaign and those campaigns are always on new terrains with equipment and factions that differ from the previous campaign. You can expect something different every time we complete a campaign. All Around Fun - We don't have any room for no nonsense attitudes as we understand this is a game in which fun is the primary objective. We do take the missions seriously but, we can never have too many jokes or funny moments. When does the 88th play? We play every Wednesday and Saturday at 8:00 PM EST.
