ARMA 3 Addon Request Thread

I got a list of islands here that i think would do good for arma III. most ironically around greece

  • Skyros Island, Greece

  • Cythera Island, Greece

  • Ibiza island, Spain

  • Malta Island, just south of italy

  • Ermoupoli Island, Greece

They look like they seem like a good bunch of islands for all sorts of scenarios

You know what would be great? Zombie units that work with ALiVE. Slow zombies, fast zombies, maybe even mutant zombies. They could be hostile to everyone, even civilians. Imagine generating a civilian and zombie presence all over the map and seeing random zombie attacks. It would be so cool.

I don't want DayZ or anything like that. I just want to make my own missions with zombies in them.

Hello everybody!

What we are looking for are about 3 or so mods that can improve/add some stuff for our realism.

this is what we are looking for:

-An FV430 Warrior and T55AM Marksman (with proper UK skins)

-Defence/Base construction (like trenches, foxholes and FOBs or outposts)

-Navy ships (large ones, like aircraft carriers or battleships, british ones of course)

We are looking for Arma 3 mods, so please don't send Arma 2 ports that are gonna be buggy.

We play as british infantry, so british stuff is required in our mods.

If you know any mods that have these things or are willing to make one then please pm me

We are also looking to start modding ourselves, so if any of you can help us cus we have no experience in the modding business.

I don't know if anyone has done a mod like this, but is there any addon that has disabled the ammo counter and visuals that crop at the center of the screen like interacting and having no ammo/to reload? I know ACE did this for ArmA II, and I prefer not having such indicators.

Could somebody mount a script to a support for zeus? Specifically, this nuke script. http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?170602-ArmA-III-Nuke-Script-Port-from-ArmA-II Could you please replace the nuke sound with something a bit better (I'll find it, if you accept the job), and package it into an addon?

I'd love to see it as a missile strike, or something. I need it for an upcoming event, and can offer small monetary reciprocation if that'll motivate you. I'm talking small though (10-15 bucks?), this doesn't seem to be a complicated task AFAIK, I just don't have the skill to do it.

I don't have much experience in creating addons nor am I a proficient graphic artists so its better I just request it here.

I'm looking for someone to develop a series of mission graphics for markers. I'm not talking about just expanding the marker library with more types of units. I've found several mods that already accomplished this. I'm looking for new markers for the missing operation graphics that represent tactical tasks such as attack by fire, fix, disrupt, etc. as well as for control measures like Forward Line of Troops (FLOT), Axis of Advance (Main Effort, Airborne), Battle Position, etc.

I'm not asking for the entire FM 101-5-1/MCRP 5-2A Manuals. Most symbols like Line of Departures (LD), Assembly Areas (AA), Drop Zones (DZ), Check Point (CP) and so forth can be created using the vanilla icons, ellipse/rectangle, and text. I'm just asking for those graphics that are:

1) Commonly used

2) Difficult/Impossible to replicate with current markers

3) Add to immersion for MilSim community

Please keep scaling in mind. I'm tired of placing a marker, but when zoomed out it either takes up half the map or for some reason drifts thousands of meters from its intended position.

I have a rather simple request- ABUs (Airman Battle Uniform) with all USAF ranks if possible. I would like to be able to pick and choose for my unit members so we all wear our ranks and get that much more in-depth.

Quick ideas here.

1. The addition of food and water requirements. Some missions can take hours and a soldier would need water and food. This would also have a factor on his fatigue. Maybe some sort of element added so that this would be a factor but not as intrusive as say DayZ. Water can obviously be stored in water bottles, camel packs etc and food in the form of rations.

2. Camouflage netting to be able to put up around buildings and vehicles to keep them concealed from Air & Ground Patrols.

3. Option of setting up concealed OP's if a sniper or artillery observer so soldier can be hidden more and would be more difficult for the enemy to find.

These are just some ideas but I think would give an extra edge to an already outstanding simulation.

I agree with Tybo's request for USAF Combat Search and Rescue Ghost Hawk and second it. (1st Special Tactics Squadron could use USAF gear all around...)

Would someone be a dear and port over the T-90 "Vladimir" from Arma2, and yes, non-AllInArma version, with phys-x like Reyhard's T-72 "Ural" tanks have 'em.

And what I'm dreaming off, is a T-90MS "Tagil" variant being made. (There was one in the works for Arma2; But sadly that project was halted, afaik..) Anyways, tanks a lot! :)

And, can somebody who's talented with mapmaking please create one of the Dutch, German, or Danish (North Sea bordering) Waddensea islands? Rømø, or Borkum, or Schiermonnikoog to mention some. Perhaps even Texel, and Noorderhaaks sandbank along with it!

I mean something loosely based on it, but with overall (downscaled) village/town-shape/outlines, and road-infrastructure kept intact where practicable.. Would be awesome! Thanks to anyone outthere who considers creating any of such, or otherwise to his/her choice.

I am trying to get a modding team together to develop an exoskeleton mod. The suits would effect soldier attributes in a realistic way. They would look something along the lines of the Elysium exoskeletons.

I know that there are already medical systems but I have yet to see one that bridges the gap between something basic like a revive script and xmed

my idea would be for something like xmed without making it too realistic but still is have realistic elements and is not time consuming

some examples would be

someone gets shot give him morphine for the pain and use a medkit or bandage to stop the bleeding

or when someone is down use defibs or use a medkit to revive them

bandages to stop bleeding that kind of thing

but it woudnt have things like giving someone too much morphine so they die

and epi pens

but still include loading wounded people into a truck or something and the ability to drag or carry them
