My Add on Request :

180_zpsc58e81ef.jpg

A logistics vehicle with the capability to load different modules.

it loads a Gas module and delivers to the airfield,

5684024839_ffbc84a68e_zpsf0f37319.jpg

unloads, drives back, picks up a repair module to deliver at a vehicle depot.

Mean while in the field the soldiers have taken a remarkable part of Altis.

The distance between the front lines and the base makes it difficult to resupply them,

the need for a resupply point closer to the front forces our engineers to build a new FOB.

so the MAN/Scania or a Future model picks up a HQ module and brings it to the suggested location.

scania2xm6_zpsf105747a.jpg

Our troops are needed to defend that given strategic location, pick up a module and transport them there.

HX58_zpsc7b6b903.jpg

the possibility's are endless,

u can place so much stuff on such a vehicle.

I was hoping the devs would do such a thing with the HEMTT truck.

But anyway,

for example :

Refuel module,

Repair module,

Vehicle ammunition module,

HQ Module,

Troop transport module,

Anti air module,

Radar module,

Flatbed module to transport vehicles.

It add's a completely new gameplay to the game (logistics)

Be aware, never leave base without protection from an armed convoy.

But a very important multi purpose role in a war so why not in the Armaverse.

Ticket : http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=12730

My addon request:

I'd like to have the same NVG as the DEVGRU in Zero Dark Thirty.

Maybe, I'm not aware of it.

Nevertheless, it hasn't been released.

I like these NVG and they would perfectly fit for 2035.

I don't know if someone already working on this, but I would really love to have some czech units (ACR) in Arma III!

Arma's II ACR DLC has a quite complete inventory of czech army, but Arma III is more futuristic and there's few new things in ACR.

Quick overview:

They use Vz.95 camo and Vz.95 Desert.

This is SF JTAC

Czech (disbanded) SOG used multicam but not only that

Bren 805 is now their primary rifle.

Tho a lot of units still use Sa-58 or this Sa-58, these would be fun in Arma III!

Besides that they use standart Glock pistol, CZ 750 Sniper, RPG-7, Carl Gustav, Javelin, RPG-75, SF uses MP5 and M4.

Armored vehicles are (and I mean new vehicles that ACR want to use in future) Iveco LMV, Dingo 2 cars and Pandur II APC/IFV (Ambulance variant). Then there is upgraded version of BMP called BVP-M2 SKCZ. ACR main battle tank is T-72M4CZ.

When it's about transport, TATRA T-815 8×8 LT and lighter Tatra T-810 is newest variant of a Tatra trucks, and there's also SF version! Dana M1 is 152mm self-propelled gun. Also there is prototype of unammed vehicle TAROS 6×6 Furbo.

Military Police has slightly different vehicles.

Mi-171Å  is upgraded version of well known Mi-17 to future deployment in Afghanistan, lighter helicopter is PZL W-3A Sokol. Attack gunhsip of choice is still Mi-35. Attack aircrafts are L-159 ALCA and new Saab JAS 39 Gripen (also 2 seats version). Transport is secured by CASA C-295. The helicopter pilots and jet pilot.

We also use vehicles like HMMWV, old Land Rover Defender and its SF variant, MaxxPro, Bombardier MAX 800 Outlander Quadbike or Toyota Hilux Double Cab.

Chinnooks,Apaches and Seahawks Oh My!

Sorry if this has been asked before, I know Konyo is working on an A3 version of the Chinnook, which I must say looks pretty neat already, but does anybody have any plans to create A3 versions of the other helos from Blufor and Opfor in A2.

I like the idea of A3 being set slightly in the future and I can see why the future tech of the military was used. I don't think they should leave out these older aircraft though as if they were just scrapped overnight by the military due to cutbacks in spending. LOL! Whats new! then started shipped in a load of new uniforms and aircraft to replace everything. (being a little pedantic there!)

Before you suggest I port over my A2 stuff or use AIA, I've done that and I'm fed up with the errors and no classnames etc.

Actually be quite nice to see some of the older stuff working properly eventually.

So back to the question, any work in progress at the moment we could potentially see in the not so distant future?

(someone in BIS decided that closing the original thread was a more brutal approach than actually notifying me that I'd should have posted here! I might have apologised then, but this was more out of interest than a request.)

That would be smart! what textures would you consider doing one in? .

Clearly we need an addon that allows us to point at where we are looking.

It would use the top of your finger as the ""ironsight"" so you see that you actually are pointing at what you want.

And you could point while freelooking and it would follow your view.

It doesn't seem like it would be IMPOSSIBLE.

I would like to see the black UH 80 variant renamed MH-80 and have a refueling probe and flir system modeled in. Maybe have the green UH-80's miniguns replaced with something a little less "spec ops"ish...maybe an updated M240 model or something, and also add two additional cargo seats to allow a proper army rifle squad to be transported, maybe a DAP version of the Ghost Hawk as well. wish I had the modding skills to just do this myself but I don't see that happening anytime soon:icon_rolleyes:

Don't you mean: "xm-60" it is blackhawk variants you are talking about right?

If you have arma 2, Yurapetrov released some great hawks they are worth checking out if you don't have arma 2 i guess you will have to wait til he decides to port the hawks.

I've got arma2 bro, just would really love to see this done with the ghost hawks. That being said I would also love to see a naval version of the Ghost Hawk in game as well

What do you mean by naval version?

there is no naval version of the ghosthawk as far as i know and if there was we wouldn't know about it. I know Yura is/was working on a more propper ghosthawk than the one in arma since the real "ghosthawk" has 4 rotorblades like any other hawk. If you really want a navalghosthawk it should be a quick retexture of the current arma 3 one

Quick few retextures of the Ghosthawk I done last week. It's pretty simple to retexture so if you find the colour etc you want I would be happy to do it for you.

Question to anybody with the info, what are likely US Army combat aviation brigade Units responsible for Europe/Africa in the near future timeframe? Ideally any Unit with a symmetrical ID badge, since the Helicopter I´m working on uses a mirrored texture, so one side will inevitably be reversed.

AFAIK the US Army only has one Combat Aviation Brigade stationed in Europe and that is 12th Combat Aviation Brigade, which is largely based in Germany but supports the remaining US Army units in Italy as well (173rd Airborne Brigade).

There's no CAB currently assigned to USAFRICOM but stationing a new 13th CAB in Africa was under consideration, or simply using a smaller Special Operations Aviation Brigade. However the 13th CAB in fact became 4th Combat Aviation Brigade based at Fort Carson, which activated last month.

2nd Brigade Combat Team (Dagger Brigade), 1st Infantry Division is the first brigade to be aligned with AFRICOM though, so it's reasonable to suggest that Combat Aviation Brigade (Demon Brigade), 1st Infantry Division could be assigned to support them in a future Armaverse scenario, once their current Afghanistan deployment ends.

When I say a naval ghost hawk I mean something like how you have seahawk variants of the black hawk. maybe by changing the model a bit by moving the tail wheel to directly under the Engines/transmission area and modeling out the left cabin door for a start. just spitballing here being as its a fictional aircraft to begin with...the ghost hawk I mean, not the secret squirrel stealth black hawks the US Military currently has. sweet textures by the way KDK11
