BlackbirdSD 15 Posted October 3, 2020 Just bought a logitech z906 speaker system and connected the optical cable to the motherboard. I get sound but it is not surround sound. Cant hear an explosion behind me specifically like I could with my analog system. With this system i plugged in the analog cables and i get surround but not with the optical cable.
