Hello everyone. I have been playing this wonderful game for a long time, but there aren’t enough nerves anymore ... This mistake is permanent. It arises when flying kajman, blackfoot, neophron, xian ...

I've been chatting with support for a month now, but there is no sense. I looked through all the forums there with the same tips as from support, everything does not work! I noticed that video memory is often full with any settings and memory allocators.

All drivers are latest. And do not say that Intel is the best. There are the same problems!

Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 18363) (18362.19h1_release.190318-1202)
Gigabyte X570 GAMING X
BIOS: F12e (type: UEFI)
Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core Processor
Memory: 32768MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER 8gb

I play without mods on Warlords)

All step by step as support advised
1) You have software firewall turned off or have correctly set up an
exception for both Steam and the game.
(and also tried without antivirus)
2) You run Steam as Administrator:( I use a super administrator account)
1. Exit Steam.
2. Right-click on Steam icon.
3. Left-click on "Run As Administrator".
4. If the problem persists, reboot your computer and try the procedure again.

Decrease in sound quality and reduction in the number of sound sources in the scene.

Plus a full reinstall of windows. I use a super administrator account and hugepages(

tried without this function). Deleted all folders and any mention of arma and battleye.

Used third-party memory allocators and all that arma offers. And classic) default launcher settings ...

Used anti-malware "malwarebytes" and checked my dr.web computer with antivirus. My computer is clean!

Are you using a USB headset?

The RPT actually didn't log a crash.

Hello everyone) And so after so much time no solution was found. BI themselves do not know what the matter is because such simple tips speak only about this. I installed a complete removal of all drivers and a clean installation from a file from official hardware sites. Made a clean start to WINDOWS. And nothing ...

The problem is both in warlords and in the XI'AN demonstration.

From here question BI is going to fix this problem or just raking in money? And this problem is very many years old!

Hello,

these might seem obvious, but please make sure that:
1) You have software firewall turned off or have correctly set up an
exception for both Steam and the game.

2) You run Steam as Administrator:
1. Exit Steam.
2. Right-click on Steam icon.
3. Left-click on "Run As Administrator".
4. If the problem persists, reboot your computer and try the procedure again.

If none of this helps, please send us the following:

The dxdiag report of your computer for checking
(no sensitive personal information will be collected):
1. Press WinKey + R.
2. Type 'dxdiag' (without the quotes).
3. Press Enter.
4. In dxdiag window, click on 'Save All Information' button.
5. Send me the resulting file as email attachment.

The msinfo report of your computer for checking (no sensitive personal
information will be collected):

1. Press WinKey + R.
2. Type 'msinfo32' (without the quotes).
3. Press Enter.
4. In MSINFO window, click on 'File' in the upper menu.
5. Click on 'Save' button.
6. Send me the resulting file as email attachment.

And your RPT file:
Press WinKey + R and paste this directly into the window that appears:
%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Arma 3

then press Enter. You should be taken directly to the folder where arma 3 RPTs
are stored. Please reproduce your issue and send us the latest RPT file.

Please send these 3 files in one message and do not zip/rar them.

I noticed one feature! Video memory is ALWAYS filled to the limit  ! Even if you stand still, and the video memory buffer is not updated. Which leads to an error with any settings...

Hello,

please try to use a different memory allocator for Arma 3.

Open Arma 3 launcher, go to the "Parameters" and switch to the "All Parameters"
tab.
Now you should see the checkbox for "Memory allocator" under the advanced.
Please check it and try to reproduce the issue with different memory
allocators.

Thank you.

Hello,

please navigate to the following folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Steamworks

and "vcredist_x86" from all folders. Then please open the following folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Steamworks
Shared\_CommonRedist\DirectX\Jun2010

and install (right click and select "Run as administrator") "DXSETUP.exe".

The last thing you have to do is to open the following folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Steamworks
Shared\_CommonRedist\DotNet\4.5.2

and install (right click and select "Run as administrator")
"NDP452-KB2901907-x86-x64-AllOS-ENU.exe".

Hello. The problem was not solved in this way. I turned everything off, including removing the antivirus and turning off windows deffender using the registry ... Flying on xian arma 3 closed but I didn’t get an error but it just finished ... but the symptoms are the same under the same conditions.

And i use 1.98.146381 new PROFILING branch with PERFORMANCE binaries, v05, server and client, windows 32/64-bit
I did not see any difference. In addition, this does not solve my problem...

I wonder if this is related to the crash that I'm experiencing too only on the 64bit client?  For me, spawning any helicopter (and alt - dragging to increase its height) in Zeus causes a crash to desktop.

Hey @GUN3IT. I fixed my problem with an update to Windows 10.  I was on the 1909 version whereas latest was the 2004. On completion I fired up arma3 and no crashes with helicopters height.

Check your install on windows update... I had to force mine (slow rollout otherwise)

Hello! Did everything as you wrote. The error remained and it occurs on any official warlors server when flying VTOL (XIAN), blackfoot and kajman helicopters, and also on nephron! I’m not really doing anything, just flying and completing missions and tasks. And in showacase VTOL (XIAN).

ср, 17 июн. 2020 г. в 12:15, Dominik via RT <support@bistudio.com>:

Hello,

the crash is unfortunately not in any RPT file you sent us and we tried to
eliminate all possible hardware or software issues.

Please create a backup of the following folders:

  * C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Temp

  *

  * C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Arma 3

  *

  * C:\Users\YourUsername\Documents\Arma 3

  *

  * C:\Users\YourUsernameDocuments\Arma 3 - Other Profiles

And then uninstall the game and delete those folders. There might be some
corrupted files causing this issue.

After that please restart your computer, start Steam as Administrator and
install the game.

If that will not help please send us steps to reproduce your issue. Basically
describe what exactly do you do until the game crashes - if it is always the
same.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Dominik

That might be a different problem though...

Most "stack buffer overrun" errors are actually VERY different things, people just like to think same error message == exact same cause, that is not the case. Every crash is different and needs a crashdump to be looked at.

And your comment that you posted

Quote

I noticed it crashed at 16:59:59 game time in singleplayer (seen on HUD). Seems similiar to this

Its EXACTLY that other issue that you linked there, you cannot know whether thats the same issue as the ticket you posted in.
