beno_83au 1362 Posted March 3, 2020 I have a number of static AA in my mission and would like to hide them all from the UAV terminal's list when the player opens it, due to the clutter they are creating. Players being BluFor, I know I could add the AA to Independent, but I don't want to do that because it'll limit my ability to use Independent as friendly OR enemy at a later time. So far all I can come up with is to add a hidden unit for each AA and script their connection. Is there a better way to achieve this?
pierremgi 4737 Posted March 3, 2020 I can't test yet, but perhaps: enableUAVconnectability could do the trick.
beno_83au 1362 Posted March 3, 2020 Not quite @pierremgi, unfortunately that stops a unit connecting to any UAV.
pierremgi 4737 Posted March 3, 2020 Perhaps with setAutonomous ?
JD Wang 351 Posted March 4, 2020 Pretty sure you have to name all your Static AA's and then use unit disableUAVConnectability [uav, true]; for each player on each SAM. But according to the wiki picking up a new terminal will reset that https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/disableUAVConnectability
beno_83au 1362 Posted March 5, 2020 Ugh, yes, sorry @pierremgi you were on the right track, and @JD Wang. Life was a bit distracting the other day. UAVConnectablity commands should work fine, I'll be able to work around players picking up a new terminal. Cheers.
